Caffe' Port Moka In Vigevano

Beautiful, welcoming, and most importantly, stocked with gluten-free brioches, which we tried (they were delicious). I also know they make gluten-free sandwiches.

A wonderful bar, the kind every city could wish for. Despite the constant traffic outside and the shouting students, as soon as you enter this bar, all the noise disappears and you feel like you're somewhere else entirely. The leather and wood furnishings are beautiful, with soft lighting (not blinding LEDs), books lining the sides, and armchairs. The staff is knowledgeable and exceptionally courteous, and screens at the counter display photos, ingredients, and prices of drinks, including allergens. What amazed me was the free water (in the morning, and 50 cents with free refills at lunchtime). It's rare in the north to find a bar with a tap water station (still/sparkling, chilled, or room temperature), with glasses, jugs, and glass bottles for customers (and students) to use, when other places offer you a small glass of water but then bring you a hyper-priced plastic bottle if you're thirsty. I don't know what blend the coffee was, but it was really good, and I noticed that one of the girls, once all the customers had been served and the place was full, took advantage of the situation and started cleaning the coffee machine, demonstrating how much they care about cleanliness. Indeed, the place is spotless, and as soon as a customer finishes their order, they immediately wipe down the table and pick up the croissant crumbs. A truly wonderful discovery, and I'll definitely be returning more often.

Barolo risotto with fondue and parmesan,,; and fusilli with vegetables and bacon...exceptional!

Excellent service! The brioches are delicious and there's always a great selection! I recommend it!
