Caffe Pepito In Imperia

Pepito is our go-to spot on every trip to Italy. We come for the atmosphere, the aperitivo, and especially the owner's kindness! Imagine unlimited Spritz and focaccia for a ridiculously low price (8 euros). It's a place where everyone gathers, all ages. It's best to book ahead, that's how popular it is!

Nice aperitif place on the pedestrian street. This time it was an aperitif buffet. Maybe a little noisy, but it's nice to spend time here watching the people passing by.

We really enjoyed their pastries, focaccias/pizzas, and their strategic location on the pedestrian street. It was late Monday morning, but there was considerable disorganization both behind the bar and outside, where the tables remained dirty for quite some time. The lady (owner?) at the register was annoyed and made an unpleasant comment.

Welcoming place with friendly, helpful staff. The tomato and stracciatella gnocchi were delicious. The baked chicken was also good, and the grilled vegetables on the side were very oily.

Unpretentious bar serving daily specials for around €12. Authentic, no-frills atmosphere. The mushroom risotto was very good.
