Caffe Pedrocchi In Padova

I was in Padua for work and had lunch alone on Christmas Day: I couldn't have made a better choice! Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the atmosphere, and special mention for the customer service. A place of excellence worth preserving!

Padua's historic café. Elegant surroundings, a refined atmosphere, and excellent coffee. Perfect for a special break in the heart of the city. The pastries are also excellent.

Beautiful location. I highly recommend the mint coffee, which is a bit pricey at €6, while a regular espresso is €3. Excellent service.

Ah, the famous Café Pedrocchi in Padua! This historic place truly deserves to be savored as much for its setting as for its dishes. The cicchetti are pure delight. The recipe for the house specialty coffee is surprising, original, and delicious. The same goes for the famous homemade cake. The service is subdued and attentive. Needless to say, some reviews leave you wondering about its authenticity. Let yourself be lulled by the atmosphere and the dishes at Café Pedrocchi.

A coffee stop proved to be an oasis of peace. The specialty, hot chocolate in a cup, was exquisite. The history of the building is worth the visit.

Ci piace fermarci nei caffè storici delle città, quelli che hanno visto transitare nomi illustri del passato. E così ci siamo accomodati al Pedrocchi osservando il passeggio. Ma tante sono state le stonature che purtroppo non rendono più onore alle volontà di Antonio Pedrocchi: camerieri sciatti, senza una vera e propria divisa (con cravatta lunga, con cravatta corta, senza cravatta, maniche abbottonate, maniche arrotolate), bancone sporco, nessun maitre ad accogliere o dare indicazioni. Insomma un servizio dozzinale che non si addice al livello che ci si aspetta dal luogo e dai prezzi, che non sto mettendo in discussione. Sedendomi sapevo che non avrei pagato 1,50 e per questo mi aspettavo uno standard elevato. Quindi, o si riveda il tutto o si diventi un comune bar commerciale.

Locale piu' importante a Padova con posizione centralissima. Personale impeccabile. Attesa media tra le portate. Locale affascinante. Cibo ad un prezzo adeguato nonostante la particolarita'. Lo consiglio.
