Cafe Pedrocchi is a Padua institution.
You're immersed in a restaurant-café with the service and allure of a luxury hotel.
There's a wide selection of menu options, from coffee to appetizers, from breakfast to lunch.
The service is impeccable and the atmosphere very chic.
Good value for money.
A must-see in the city.
I highly recommend it.

Apparently a touristy place, it surprised us with the quality and goodness of its famous "Caffè Pedrocchi", a sort of tight cappuccino with cold mint cream.
It is not served with a teaspoon or sugar because it should be drunk as it is served.
It is €3.50 for coffee but it is worth the expense.

A coffee symbol of Padua. Maybe one of the best all over the world. Service, quality, prices and the whole place it's great.
Taste the coffee flavoured with cold mint cream. It's a masterpiece!. The service is at the counter, but the room has several tables and stands where it is possible to sit freely.

I went to this historic café to visit it and try its famous "Caffè Pedrocchi", with mint flavor. In addition to the historic architecture and the 2 lions outside, it also has three rooms on the ground floor: a green one, which recalls the colors of the flag, open to all; a white one, to remember the murder of a student during a revolt by the Austrians; a red one located in the center of the Caffè Pedrocchi, with an elliptical marble counter and a clock with bas-reliefs with a symbolic function: it reminded us that this was a café "without doors", that is, that it never closed... All in all, a visit if you are in Padua is recommended, at least for its historical relevance.

Two pieces of bread and a mint coffee to put you in a good mood.
Mint coffee sounds strange, but it's delicious, creamy, and complements the strong flavor of the coffee. It tasted like fine chocolates.
The pastel de nata is exquisite, and the croissant is perfectly sliced.
The service is very average, bordering on average, except for the barista; no one even looks at you. Quite pedantic, I waited over 10 minutes at the register to be charged.
The atmosphere is set by the place, but the staff isn't. The coffee room is much simpler than the restaurant.
It's a must-visit for the products above; the food doesn't have a good reputation.

You have to go there for their special coffee.
After all, it's trendy, a bit hip. Good for those who like it.
