Historic place in Piazza del Popolo, after a conference we had lunch in the room on the upper floor, well-kept and well-furnished, frescoes, pleasant atmosphere, well-executed dishes... quality raw materials, excellent local wines... kind, courteous and very professional staff...

Historic place full of charm overlooking one of the most beautiful squares in Italy. High quality aperitif dinner with exceptional fried Ascoli. They served me one of the best Martini cocktails I have ever tried and created in front of my table. Chic atmosphere. Excellent service. Highly recommended

Recommended to visit, an old-fashioned place in the main square. Ideal for a coffee and some of their typical delicacies. Improve service!

Amazing place that can have (as you can see by the reviews) spotty service or food but for us it was wonderful. The location is magical and on a summer evening with the "glowing" travertine it becomes even more magical at night. I laugh a bit about people complaining about tourists. We were here in May for three days and I met only three or four other tourists from other countries not from Italy. Italians come to this place for their local vacation. I loved this town. Not a lot to do other than wander the old town and the squares but it is beautiful! We drove all the way from Florence to this location through the mountains instead of going to Venice and I do not regret it. I used all of my one year of Italian Language practice in this town. It is so local that no many of the people spoke English and that was fine by me! Lastly, the beaches near this town on the Adriatic are also amazing. Once again, mostly Italians and not tourists.

Excellent coffee, service… young… you can't read minds, but maybe ask first.

Just take the Pierina, the rest is too expensive and not worth it. The waiters are a disaster...

Historic, elegant café in the historic center. You can taste anisette in various forms (plain, in ice cream, in coffee........ A little too expensive!!!!!

Storico, tradizionale, elegantissimo, sulla piazza principale, specialità il caffè corretto con una cremina all'anice. Va visitato.

Sosta in questa storica caffetteria del centro storico di Ascoli, dallo stile elegante e d'altri tempi. Abbiamo assaggiato il Melettino che è caffè con crema chantilly. Molto buono. Personale giovanile e adeguato.
