Very good food and a very nice owner. The place is off the beaten track but the atmosphere and food are very good.

Caring and attentive owner who gave us recommendations when ordering and also on interesting places to see on our trip in region Puglia. The delicious food was made of ingredients from the owner's garden. As a bonus we also got an aperitive made from lemons which was homemade as well. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for something fresh, made with love and local.

I stopped at this restaurant after seeing the ratings and I really wasn't disappointed! The owner is adorable and recommends very good typical local dishes. Most of her products are homemade and with local vegetables. I had such a good lunch that I went back for dinner :) I recommend with my eyes closed!

Very friendly bar. The boss Nadia is very friendly and smiling. The meal is very good, Nadia recommends regional dishes. Recommended if you are in Matera!

Excellent location for an aperitif under the castle. The very kind and helpful lady gave us detailed information about the city. Too bad I didn't try the dishes. Obviously recommended

12/05/2025: My experience at this restaurant was a great and incredible surprise. I came in with the intention of eating local food, not pizza. But in the end I ordered the pizza 'Ndujata. I am a pizza expert from Accademia Pizzaioli and a judge at the World Pizza Championships. I was amazed from the first bite. The dough was extraordinarily light, digestive, delicious and crunchy at the same time. UNBELIEVABLY. I came to the conclusion that one of the best pizzas in Italy is made in Matera. Really crazy and incredible.
10/05/2025: A very friendly setting, very charming staff, a bit of a wait to be served but a very good meal with flavor on your plates! Don't hesitate to stop by and the restaurant is very pretty!

11/05/2025: Il pleuvait et rien ne nous donnait envie de retourner dans le centre. Nous avons découvert ce restaurant tout à fait parfait hasard et ce fut un très belle découverte. Amabilité, qualité des plats, prix très corrects tout y est pour passer un très bon moment.
06/05/2025: Ci hanno portato qui persone del posto, il locale è carino ed accogliente a metà tra un'osteria ed un ristorantino informale (nel senso migliore del termine, ovviamente), simpatica la cameriera che ci ha serviti nonostante i tempi d'attesi un po' troppo lunghi. Oltre ad un antipasto di rosticceria che non mi è rimasto particolarmente impresso, alcuni hanno mangiato la pizza (come me), altri i primi. Stando ai commenti le pizze non sono memorabili ed io sono d'accordo, decisamente migliori i primi (ho assaggiato un boccone d amia moglie ed era buono).
