Delicious. Handmade. Vegetable from her own garden. Very nice owner.

The food at the restaurant is really good. The owner explained that the tomatoes and olives come from her own garden – and you can really taste their freshness. The bread from Matera was soft, fresh, and very tasty. The only thing that bothered me a bit was the owner's behavior – she stood at the table waiting for us to choose our dishes, then came back several times to clear up, even though we were still eating. She probably wanted less work, but that made it difficult to fully relax. At the end, she offered us a small coffee dessert – a nice gesture that left a good impression. Overall, it's worth visiting for the food alone.

We went in encouraged by the reviews and weren't disappointed. We happened to be the only customers at the time, and the owner, who delighted us with her personality, recommended local dishes and told us about them, noting which products she grows herself (delicious olives). The drinks were simply amazing; you could taste the alcohol, just the right amount. We also had the opportunity to chat and listen to the owner – a very personable woman who runs this place wonderfully. I recommend and greet you 🫶❤️ Hope to see you again. Very hospitable and kind! The food was extremely delicious, homemade. We tried the traditional dishes of the Matera region on recommendation, as well as the restaurant's dessert, which tasted great! We were with two small children, for whom the lady immediately brought toys and coloring books. We also ate great bread, which the children really liked. Thank you for the hospitality and the delicious food! I definitely recommend it!

Highly recommend this restaurant, highlight of our Matera trip! The owner was fantastic.

A bit chilly on the terrace, with plenty of air, but it's not their fault the weather. The owner of the place was super friendly and charming, a Canadian who recommended the best. She brought us a special olive oil as an aperitif and some delicious olives. We had salad and ravioli as an aperitif, and for main courses, lasagna and more special ravioli. Everything was delicious. She gave us a limoncello they made themselves, and the dessert was also very, very good, both hot and cold. Nadia, the owner, was charming, very friendly, and she really liked Madrid. We had a great time, replenishing our energy for a visit to Matera.

Away from the immense tourist crowds, we experience Italianità at its finest: simple cuisine with the finest home-cooked dishes (vegetables from the local farm) and a charming hostess.

Great place to stop and grab a bite to eat. The bathroom is very clean.
