Delicious coffee, cakes, chocolate and biscuits at very reasonable prices and a really and sincerely friendly service. Oh yes, toilets are spotless.

Unfortunately, every place tends to make the same mistake, that is, the difference in a fairly detached approach with the unknown customer, instead I think it should be involved more, but about the place and the people who run it nothing but positive things to say, it's just a note that in my opinion working on it brings more customers.

24/02/2025: Il Calanco è una struttura di tipo familiare, rustica e accogliente che da tempo rappresenta un’eccellenza nel territorio pisticcese. Si contraddistingue per la genuinità del personale che ci lavoro, attento ad accogliere ogni tua richiesta, per la bontà dei piatti serviti, la maggior parte a km zero e per i sapori intensi e veraci tipico della tradizione lucana. Se volete vivere un’esperienza di vitto e alloggio lontana da stress e da inutili sofisticazioni questo è il posto che fa per voi. Insomma al Calanco si mangia bene e si dorme meglio. Bravo Giuseppe, bravi tutti!!!!!

02/02/2025: For the first time, I had the pleasure of entering this place and enjoying what the good Mirko recommended. Everything was delicious, portions were generous, excellent beer, and a delicious dessert 😊! With Mirko and his Marianna, we felt welcomed into an environment that, personally, made me feel immersed in the post-World War II era...even touching on the golden age of economic rebirth...let's say the '50s and '60s (especially overseas); jazz, swing, hints of blues... make this place a niche, a welcoming place, in short...personally, a special place. We'll definitely be back 😊.
