Interesting place to visit. Owners are trying to keep historical style, but, up to me, something is missing. Coffee with sweets are really good.

A historical cafe, trying to reflect that in style. however, they would need a "gentle" professional touch from the real designer. Coffee and croissant with cream were excellent.

I have to admit that I was surprised: - the café is historic - the service is well mannered - both the coffee and the sweets are very tasty I was really satisfied and hope to be able to come back here again.

Historic café in Villafranca. A leap back in history. Absolutely worth visiting. Buy the puff pastries. You will taste a sublime dessert that you can't imagine. Also taste the Fiume water, a very good liqueur that links the place even to Gabriele d'Annunzio. The welcome is excellent and the service is up to the task. Definitely recommended.

Locale unico con arredamento primi 900. Dedica di D’Annunzio (Reggenza Italiana del Carnaro) e contrassegno di S.M. Umberto I. Sfogliatine (dolce tipico) e acqua di fiume (liquore tipico). Caffè buono e dolci assai soddisfacenti.

È un pezzo di storia, storia di Villafranca e storia d'Italia. Una pasticceria storica con prodotti veramente di altissima qualità. Avrebbe forse bisogno di una rinfrescata senza intaccare quella che è la storia, quello che è il look del posto. Personale cortesissimo ovviamente, dog friendly.... ehm se posso ragazzi rimettete in moto quella spettacolare macchina da caffè che è un peccato vederla ridotta una cimelio d'arredo

Mamma mia che bontà!!! Abbiamo acquistato qui dei biscotti per mangiarli a casa, da amante dei biscotti ho subito preso quelli di pasta frolla farciti alla cioccolata ( i miei preferiti) i più buoni mangiati finora!!!! Ne avrei mangiati fino a sfinimento!!! Idem per quelli al pistacchio! La crema al pistacchio è leggera e per niente zuccherosa. Ho assaggiato pure le sfogliatelle: croccanti e leggere...una tira l'altra! Questo è un ottimo momento per iniziare la giornata!!!! Ci tornerò sicuro!!! Servizio gentile e sorridente!!

28/02/2024: Cozy restaurant in the center of Cologna. The care taken in the kitchen and the extreme research into the ingredients are noticeable. A point of excellence are the wines: Ivano and Barbara are competent Sommeliers who will be able to guide you in your choice. In summary: I will definitely be back!☺️

27/03/2024: We hadn't been there for years, but found the quality that everyone talks about and that lies in people's word of mouth. We ate the one with only fish but there are so many prawns and scampi, the paella is tasty and the quantity is satiating. We also liked the sangria which was not too sweet and not a "fruit salad". We diversified the desserts to be able to taste many of them, I took the more classic Creme Catalana with the original hint of fume and I also liked the cake which looks like a zuccotto filled with cream whose Spanish name I don't remember. Friendly, smiling and attentive staff. (They come by at the end of the paella to remove any rice scattered on the table so that it doesn't stick to your sleeves and you can be comfortable while waiting for dessert or coffee) an attention that I appreciated.
