Congratulations to the pastry chef are truly due! Both for the cutting-edge choice and for the mastery of creation. On various occasions I have been able to try many things. The small pastry shop is also excellent.

Cheap breakfast with delicious bread and cakes

Caffé Europa is part of the Hotel Europa, a classic old grand hotel. The ambiance is a successful combination of tradition and modernity. The selection of cakes and tarts, as well as sweet snacks, is excellent. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Access is wheelchair accessible. The prices are slightly higher than usual, but perfectly reasonable. Highly recommended.

It was a great experience to have a cappuccino from the same café where De Chirico and De Pisis frequented!

Very elegant café, it could easily be compared to the Cova or Marchesi pastry shop in Milan. High quality products served by a very trained and polite staff.

Frequentiamo spessissimo questa pasticceria storica di Ferrara e la qualità sia dell’offerta dolciaria che salata è altissima.. ma devo segnalare un’esperienza spiacevole accaduta questa mattina, siamo stati con una coppia di amici venuti a Ferrara per la prima volta che aveva un cagnolino e si sono rifiutati di farci accomodare nella sala colazioni per via del cane. Peraltro avevamo anche una bambina piccola. Credo che una cosa del genere nel 2025 sia incomprensibile e mi ha costretto a cambiare location.

Excellent pastries and top cappuccino.

I consider it a decent pastry shop, the desserts are good and fresh, nothing to say, I would like to make a note on one thing... table service has a truly unjustified and excessive price, also because among other things even though there are few people and having asked for one more thing it wasn't brought to us... forgotten... there are excellent pastry bars in Ferrara that don't charge anything, or much less, if you sit at the table and are waited on hand and foot, it's a shame Profiting from this causes you to lose customers.
