One of the historic establishments that most takes us back to the days when it opened.
The service is excellent, the food is everything else.
Thank you

I happened to pass by this café on a mostly rainy day. I was immediately struck by the warm welcome from the waitress with long black hair who served us. She was kind and helpful, guiding us through our selections, offering recommendations and suggestions regarding their signature vermouth. It's rare to find waiters who are so attentive to their customers and so professional. The food and drinks were excellent, and I appreciated the quality and the prices, which were reasonable for the location and the offerings.

Visited with three friends: two green teas, one hot chocolate with cream. The waitress was kind, smiling, and efficient. The place is old-fashioned, with dark wood-paneled walls and marble tables. The place is small and crowded.

Illustrious figures of the Italian Risorgimento passed through the restaurant and at those tables. That atmosphere still resonates today.

A lovely, historic café in Turin. Counter service is a bit crowded. The croissants are amazing and enormous (twice the size of those in Lombardy).

A tastefully decorated café, exposed to the sun until after lunch. The staff is friendly and the service is fast. The toasted sandwiches and breakfast are excellent.

A lovely old establishment (be aware that there can be a bit of a wait for a table inside on busy days). Alternatively, you can opt for the terrace, which enjoys plenty of sunshine in winter. The service is usually welcoming, but sometimes a little abrupt; it all depends on which waitress you get!

Historic venue in the beautiful Piazza Vittorio.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The vermouth is incredibly good and full-bodied.
Well done!
Highly recommended!

Love love love. If you have high croissant standards and love a quaint ambience and a stellar location, I highly recommend. My step mum who lives in Turin recommended it to me.
Stunning location (one of the best in Turin in my opinion), coffee good, croissants exceptional (we had an Apricot croissant and a crema pasticciera. Apricot croissants in Italy being a personal fave of mine). Vibes are 💯.
Note Italian croissants are different to French croissants. But if you know you know. I like both for their unique qualities.
Get there early if it’s winter so you get a table inside. Before Xmas is even more magical.
