A place, as the name suggests, dedicated to San Daniele prosciutto! A welcoming and informal atmosphere inside (there's a table with four prosciuttos on display!), and outside tables under the porticoes. It's actually a restaurant and bar for aperitifs and snacks. We tried it in its restaurant version and were very satisfied: excellent tagliolini with prosciutto, good-quality Friulian cheeses, a good selection of well-cooked meats. And the desserts also rounded out a tasty and satisfying lunch. The staff deserves a special mention: very kind, welcoming, and particularly friendly. An excellent option for a not-too-expensive but worthwhile lunch right in the center of Udine!

Disappointing experience in a touristy location. This place is centrally located and seems to cater primarily to tourists who won't become regulars. We ordered "freshly squeezed" orange juice, but it clearly wasn't—it tasted like cheap juice from concentrate, with perhaps a little fresh juice added for the pulp and seeds. The coffee, unfortunately, was the worst we had during our week in Udine. And also the most expensive.

I've been coming here for years and am still impressed by the attentive and competent service. Perfect for a morning coffee or an evening prosciutto dinner. The prosciutto selection is particularly attractive. In addition to Italian prosciutto, they also offer Spanish prosciutto. The prosciutto can be chosen in a variety of ways, including with pasta or the classic burrata. You can also buy Italian specialties to take home from the shop. In any case, this prosciutteria is worth a culinary stop.

08/11/2025: The frico and tagliatelle were amazing. The wine was good, and the service was courteous and friendly. Just one comment... the yellowing on the walls spoils the lovely rustic atmosphere.
05/09/2025: We were here for dinner yesterday. A very friendly atmosphere, fast and friendly service. And the food was exceptionally good – tagliatelle with duck ragù and vitello tonnato. The vitello tonnato was one of the best I've ever had. The house wine was also exceptionally good. Besides us, there were only locals there. Always a good sign... We'll definitely be back.
