After visiting the castle, we opted for this beautiful medieval restaurant. It was a Sunday, so it was very crowded, and unfortunately, the service suffered considerably. The kitchen staff was noisy, and we could hear them outside (which isn't nice), and the waitresses were a bit on edge. However, the fried gnocco, mixed cold cuts, and cheeses were worth the wait; they were very good. We'll try again, perhaps during the week.

A lovely spot in the village. If you're visiting the castle, stop here and you'll be fine. There's even a cute black cat (whom we've named Salem) who comes to greet you while you eat. Very friendly staff.

Small wedding reception, Superlative, delicious appetizers, first and second courses. I recommend the tiramisu, it's special Thanks Rosario for the welcome and the Sicilian boy in the room, we felt at home.

03/01/2026: We would like to express our appreciation for the kindness of the staff, who, despite the packed restaurant, welcomed us, found us a table, and served us quickly. The piadinas and stew were excellent. Highly recommended.
02/01/2026: We stopped by for a break and were greeted impeccably. The place is well-kept and pleasant, with an atmosphere that instantly makes you slow down. We ordered a mulled wine, and it was a wonderful surprise: fragrant, balanced, and perfectly spiced. One of the best I've ever tasted. The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A place you'll want to return to, especially on cold days when a good glass of wine can truly change your mood.

12/01/2026: Helpful staff, decent cured meats but not as exceptional as you might assume given the location, dumplings a little burnt.
10/01/2026: We ate very well, a typical Piacenza trattoria. It was a shame it was cold.
