The Caffè dell'Ussero (editor's note: or hussar is a soldier who was part of the light cavalry unit) is a famous place included in the list of historic Italian cafés and is located on the ground floor of the beautiful Agostini palace (Venerosi della Seta) also called the Red Palace. The palace is located in a spacious stretch of the Pisan Lungarno right in front of Palazzo Blu. Very polite! Gave me great tips on sandwhiches to try. I had two decent sized sandwhiches and one small one. This plus a cappuccino was only 10 euros! Great prices for very good food.

I live on Lungarno 60m from this café but I had always avoided it because for some time the products were of medium or medium-low quality. I returned timidly and found that the new management is truly 5 star. I don't think I've ever tasted such perfect coffee. They explained to me that the selection of the beans is studied in detail, their storage in special rooms and the new coffee machine is meticulously cared for. I don't remember the details but the result is unique, both in density and in both initial and aftertaste. Furthermore, in my opinion it now has the best and freshest savory dishes in Pisa. I asked them where they got them and they explained that they make them personally every morning, selecting cured meats, eggs and vegetables. Really excellent and even light I don't know who owns the new property but the result finally lives up to its fame and history. I'm really happy to have him at home...a great fortune!

This is a cafe restaurant I discovered while heading to the station after seeing “The Leaning Tower of Pisa.” 🅾️: All types of croissants are delicious. The espresso is delicious and the price is reasonably cheap. Also, with a river flowing in front, the atmosphere is also artistic. Excellent café bar for a sweet break on the Arno. It is a historic place, with good quality products, excellent coffee and great courtesy from all the staff.

It‘s a cute little café with delicious coffee, snacks and sweets for an incredible cheap price. I had an almond tartelette which was really good! And the staff was super friendly as well 😊
