The pizza was delicious, the service was friendly and efficient despite the place being full. The focaccias are also excellent.

Although we hadn't made a reservation, an additional table was quickly set up for us. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. Highly recommended.

Very nice pizzeria located in the center of Carrara... Lots of choice, pizzas of all types and the possibility of having them wholemeal too. Fabulous pizza!!!

The pizza and focaccia are delicious. But it took them 50 minutes to bring them, I think it's excessive. The wine was good but hot, it was very hot and I guess it was not stored in the right place. The waitress very friendly.

29/12/2024: Old fashioned place, but truly wonderful, simple peasant cuisine, friendly and kind staff. good bruschetta which I know really tastes like garlic. carbonara as it used to be done without many frills. but grandma's cutlet is truly fabulous. and it's so sweet it's amazing.

Cantina L'Ottava Rima

16/02/2025: A fantastic environment, a wonderful and uncommon selection of local wines (compared to classic tourist restaurants), mouth-watering dishes. Friendly, competent and non-invasive (but very helpful) manager. Sorano is very beautiful, but even if it wasn't it would be worth a visit just for L'Ottava Rima.
15/02/2025: We were really happy to have found this charming corner, a little cave in the tuff full of historical objects and eclectic pieces of art, some questionable... but that's exactly the effect art should have! The spectacular ceramics, the trip was worth it even for this alone. Excellent food, of the highest quality and excellent wines and beers with a large selection. Super happy.
