Here you can be served at a table with the best view of the beautiful Piazza del Duomo. The staff is attentive and friendly. I chose dessert over pizza, but I would gladly return to try the other offerings on the menu (salads, first courses, meat, fish) or, perhaps, for an aperitif accompanied by music from street performers. I highly recommend it! :)

Excellent bar in Piazza Duomo in Catania. Good quality rotisserie. Excellent meat dishes. Excellent value thanks to The Fork discount. The dessert is beautiful to look at, but I expected better. The cannolo is a definite thumbs up. Overall, I recommend it with The Fork.

This café is located in the heart of Catania. The pistachio croissants are delicious, and the Cipollina is excellent. The only downside is the service—chaos and long waits, but that's standard here.

During our five-day trip to Catania, we had breakfast here twice, enjoying an Aperol or coffee in between, and we were truly surprised. We can't understand all the bad reviews. At first glance, it looks like a tourist trap, right on the main square. In reality, we've always enjoyed a good breakfast here, and the Aperol is really great too! I highly recommend coming here and seeing for yourself. Grazie Mille 🙌🏽🇮🇹

Dopo una passeggiata mi sono seduto per prendere una granita e una brioche. La granita era normale, niente di speciale. La brioche invece non mi ha fatto impazzire, forse perché personalmente la preferisco più morbida. Vista la bella posizione del bar, mi aspettavo di mangiare qualcosa che mi sarebbe rimasto più impresso.

26/03/2025: Il posto è accogliente e il personale cortese, gentile e disponibile, sempre pronto ad assicurarsi che tutto vada bene e che sia di gradimento (cosa che non trovo per nulla scontata) . Tutto eccellente, dalla frittura di antipasto al dolce, passando per la pizza. Menzione speciale per la siciliana: non solo gli ingredienti erano perfettamente dosati, tanto da restituire un prodotto perfetto e per nulla stomachevole, nonostante la grande quantità di pistacchio, ma l'ho trovata anche leggerissima e perfettamente asciutta (tanto da far dubitare che fosse fritta, il piatto non era per niente unto). Nessuna attesa per il tavolo, nonostante fosse sabato. Consiglio sempre di prenotare e di evitare gli orari di punta, altrimenti è fisiologico attendere per sedersi, come spesso accade in molti locali. Ci torneremo sicuramente.

16/10/2025: The staff was incredibly friendly, just like all McDonald's! It's the perfect place for children's parties...I highly recommend it!
09/10/2025: Sure, it's a McDonald's, but there's a sense of pride at this location reflected in the preparation of the food, the cleanliness, and appearance of the staff. I would recommend trying to avoid the standard Sicilian dining hours as when they are busy, they can be mobbed.
