Great breakfast, so yummy! And nice small price…

A perfectly good Spritz aperitif 🥂served with homemade concoctions 😋. The waiters are smiling and friendly, and we never tire of watching the endless streams of tourists while listening to the music.

Beautiful fresh croissants and coffee in a lovely setting. Well priced and while the waiter definitely could have smiled more the wait time was short. Would definitely visit again.

The pizza was great and at very fair prices. The location is excellent with an engaging view over the whole plaza. The service was the biggest pain point. Upon arrival we have been given the feeling of not being welcome. We had to convince the waiter(s) that we really wanted to have some food not only drinks (condition for getting a table). The interview process involved multiple waiters with similarly unwelcoming mood. Upon us firmly reassuring we picked their place for food, they lastly gave in and offered us a table whilst scepticism about us as guests clearly remained written in their faces. Half of the tables remained empty during the entirety of our stay whilst the waiters sent away many guests interested only in drinks. A commercial nightmare for any restaurant owner with staff actively reducing table utilisation and focus on low margin meals versus high margin drinks. Parts of our order got forgotten and we had to actively ask for it. The place does not offer alcohol free beer and asking for it let to judgemental reactions of the staff trying to convince me to order a regular beer. The restrooms’ last clean had been a long time ago and in typical Sicilian fashion the toilettes systematically lacked toilet seats and toilet paper to avoid usage. This has nothing to do with hospitality. I would return to the place for the excellent value for money we experienced for the food which makes up for the horrific atmosphere induced by the staff.

Good ice cream and prices for take away

Great place for local cakes, pastries, coffee and watching people go by :) unfortunately they are currently renovating the building in front of the cafe but that will soon be done and the views will be even better ☺️

We really enjoyed the ice cream and took it to go.

Everything is excellent, the service a little slow (you mustn't be in a hurry) but the food makes up for it and it is one of our favorite and very affordable brasseries.

Dopo una passeggiata mi sono seduto per prendere una granita e una brioche. La granita era normale, niente di speciale. La brioche invece non mi ha fatto impazzire, forse perché personalmente la preferisco più morbida. Vista la bella posizione del bar, mi aspettavo di mangiare qualcosa che mi sarebbe rimasto più impresso.
