The food was delicious.
Unfortunately, the Aperol was inappropriately proportioned.
Service, overall, was slower, with a wait of about 7 minutes to get a menu, which, as it turned out, was available as a QR code on napkins.
Then, another 7 minutes for a waiter to come by. Paying also required attention, as the staff seemed oblivious to the view.
The atmosphere was pleasant thanks to the beautiful views, but unfortunately, sitting outside allowed for cigarette smoke, which the staff seemed to have no problem with.

Great food for lunch. Very affordable and delicious. Delicious Arancino! (True Sicilian rice balls with various fillings. See photo. €2.50 or €3.50 each. Well-filled croissant €2.00. Great view of the square.

May 20, 2025: I had a wonderful time sitting in this large square in Catania. It was great to people-watch while enjoying a nice glass of wine and a generous selection of snacks. Perfect!

A bar in Piazza Duomo where they offer both delicious sweet and savory treats.
The pistachio granita was delicious, as was the brioche.

Dopo una passeggiata mi sono seduto per prendere una granita e una brioche. La granita era normale, niente di speciale. La brioche invece non mi ha fatto impazzire, forse perché personalmente la preferisco più morbida. Vista la bella posizione del bar, mi aspettavo di mangiare qualcosa che mi sarebbe rimasto più impresso.
