An excellent experience at Bar del Duomo, a highly recommended stop. The granita with brioche is truly delicious: fresh, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor, accompanied by a soft and fragrant brioche, ideal for breakfast or a delicious snack. We also tried the Margherita pizza, which was simply exceptional: well-cooked dough, light and easy to digest, quality toppings with flavorful tomato sauce and succulent mozzarella. You can taste the care taken in the preparation and the attention to the ingredients. The diner deserves a special mention: a wide selection, always fresh and delicious. Each dish is tastefully prepared and is already inviting to the eye. The added value is definitely the staff: kind, friendly, and always available, capable of making customers feel at ease from the first moment.

Delicious breakfast with cappuccinos, panzerotti crema, brioche con crema, and ravioli con ricotta. The cappuccino wasn't the best, but perfectly acceptable. Fast service, and the prices were reasonable for Catania.

Here you can be served at a table with the best view of the beautiful Piazza del Duomo. The staff is attentive and friendly. I chose dessert over pizza, but I would gladly return to try the other offerings on the menu (salads, first courses, meat, fish) or, perhaps, for an aperitif accompanied by music from street performers. I highly recommend it! :)

Excellent bar in Piazza Duomo in Catania. Good quality rotisserie. Excellent meat dishes. Excellent value thanks to The Fork discount. The dessert is beautiful to look at, but I expected better. The cannolo is a definite thumbs up. Overall, I recommend it with The Fork.

01/02/2026: The pasta with white ragù was overcooked and tasteless. The ravioli with gorgonzola and radicchio were very salty and cloying. For the price, they could have done better. Positives: The staff was friendly and the portions were adequate.
01/02/2026: I had a plate of tortellini pasta with raw ham. The pasta itself was exceptional. Relatively quick service. Recommended for anyone who's at the mall and wants to eat something excellent. The only major problem is the atmosphere: there aren't many tables, and it's difficult to find a seat because the tables are those in the mall. When in doubt, I recommend it.

05/10/2025: I booked conveniently online, and that's a plus. When we got there, they let us choose a better table than the one randomly assigned by the system. The place isn't huge, but it also has outdoor space. It's tastefully decorated, offering a welcoming atmosphere, but there were times when we couldn't talk because the music was too loud. We ordered a Sicilian Spritz, which tasted only of prosecco and was missing one of the ingredients: basil. When I asked if I could have it, the waitress seemed almost shocked and placed a leaf on the abundant ice in the glass. My friend had a non-alcoholic drink, which she finished after the second sip because it was almost all ice. The vegetarian tapas are varied and, I must say, quite good. The so-called "focaccia" is a kind of crispy pizza, completely unlike focaccia. The "pizza" is a very thin crust and also quite small (the cheapest is around 12 euros). I also had a small problem with cleaning a plate, which was promptly replaced by the waiter, who apologized. The cover charge is a whopping €2.50 per person. In conclusion, for a substantial aperitivo (sharing two small plates of tapas, a "focaccia...ina" and a "pizza...ina" and having two drinks, one of which was a non-alcoholic drink with more than average ice), we spent a whopping €29 each, which in other places would allow you to dine lavishly... I didn't want to leave this 3-star review because I don't like giving negative reviews, but I received an email from the booking system inviting me to do so, and here it is 🙆🏻‍♀️
