great for quick coffee at the bar

We sat down for coffee on Saturday morning/lunch, with the idea of eating something, but while the space in the upper part (loft) is quite warm and cozy, it was extremely noisy as the bar just below was washing dishes, arranging glasses, cups, saucers, as if they were breaking them. It was around 1:30 p.m. (Italians eat lunch around 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.), so we didn't sit down to grab a bite to eat, we went up higher to the square on the main pedestrian street, there are also nice and noteworthy shops for coffee and food there.

We had an aperitivo for two in the early afternoon. The super-helpful waiter sat us outside and served us quickly. The food was good, reasonably priced for the spritz. We also really enjoyed the music.

We arrived starving for dinner, ordered something quick, and it took 45 minutes. We were about to leave. The food was okay, nothing special, but the service was terrible, even though they tried to be friendly.

Caffè del Colleoni is a delightful venue, located in the heart of Bergamo, in an elegant piazza, perfect for a coffee break, an aperitif, or an evening drink.
The atmosphere is welcoming and refined: the interior and outdoor terrace offer a lovely setting for relaxing or meeting friends.
From a practical standpoint, it's an easy-to-reach option in the city center.
In short: if you're looking for a centrally located venue with a relaxed atmosphere, suitable for various times of the day, from morning coffee to evening aperitifs, Caffè del Colleoni is an excellent choice in Bergamo.
