The best place to read in a warm, jazzy atmosphere. The coffee is very good and very reasonably priced (for us Parisians). A cappuccino costs €2.80. Go for it!

Today I had lunch at the Caffè dei Fossi...the sandwich was excellent, simple (tomato and pecorino) but tasty...then I tried their Cheesecake which is very good, not very sugary and for me who am a Cheesecake lover it was the Top. The girls as always very kind and attentive to all requests...for me it is the Bar Nr 1 in the Santa Maria Novella area!

Personale simpaticissimo, veloce, efficiente ...schiacciate ripiene di grande qualità una più buona dell'altra!!! La prima volta siamo entrati per caso, ma la seconda siamo tornati anche se non eravamo in zona!!!!

Increíble ambiente frío. Impresionante panini. La torta de chocolate es súper fresca y sabrosa. Personal muy amable. Cómodas sillas, un buen lugar para tomar un breve descanso y descansar en medio de todas las visitas turísticas.

29/05/2025: Very nice little secret in Florence. They have a garden patio inside a portion covered the other open air. We had the T bone steak Fiorentine with grill vegetables. This is not any common grill is grilled wood and the vegetable are a generous portion. The dish can easily feed 5 people generously. We were 4 and had leftovers. We also had the pasta with duck ragu and a spinach dumpling with ricotta that was so so delicious. Can’t say enough of this hidden gem away from tourist traps. We ordered a nice bottle of wine and had espresso and dessert. We feel that in the US the steak alone . Would have cost so much more because of the quality and that had been aged. We even got to talk to the chef.
29/05/2025: Wonderful experience! Great atmosphere, family-friendly, very friendly service, and the lasagna was perfect! 💖
