Caffe' Dal 1899 In Roma

This practically ancient place is as traditional as it can be: our waiter as old as time, and although speaks no English, we manage to communicate just enough to order. He turns up to be thoughtful, too - despite not having any plain croissants, he manages to find another pastry without any filling, which is a lovely touch that gets a round of applause "awwws" from the table. The coffees are great and as we pay, we're attended by a lovely smile of a lady at the register, closing our visit that is as pleasant as it is short - if not more.

Cool old school cafe run by 3 seniors. Nice drinks, good prices, clean and chill
