Pleasant Sunday lunch.
Two of my friends and I decided to eat a good plate of pasta (one of which was vegetarian, a valid alternative).
Three pasta dishes (average €13.30), a bottle of water and a bottle of white wine, €23.50 each.
They served the dishes at the same time and poured the wine. Attentive service, good food, possibility to sit inside or outside the restaurant.
I recommend having lunch at 12.00/30, from 1.00 pm a large queue begins to gather to sit down.
I would go again.

Great restaurant, open also at Xmas. Lovely caponata, although the size was a bit small. Ragu of calamari was delicious and also fried calamari, although a bit heavy. With two housewines (a Grillo and a Shyra). Total cost 47€.
I took sward fish roll which didn’t taste of fish at all. No bread to accompany. The sandwich “cucciddato” was actually good, they made the bread. Great and friendly staff, good location in
Catania downtown. I liked the possibility to play some games (just in Italian unfortunately) behind the table paper clothes.
We went at an off time - a very late lunch at around 5pm. Seriously the most delicious pasta we had in Sicily. The traditional amatriciana was fantastic. Value for money was amazing. I would be happy to go back any time :)
Cosa sarebbe la vita senza il "Curtigghiu"! Da quando l'ho scoperto non riesco a farne a meno perché per me questo locale rappresenta davvero "la sublimazione del palato"...Ho mangiato diversi piatti di pasta, ottimi e abbondantissimi tutti, ma a rubarmi il cuore è stata la Gricia e Carciofi ...a cui non riesco più a rinunciare! Spettacolari anche le pinse e gli antipasti, soprattutto le polpette di melanzane alla norma. Buonissimi anche i dolci. Provatelo e non riuscirete più a farne a meno!
