Caffe' Coquinarius In Firenze

I didn't particularly like it. The food is delicious, but the presentation is not the best and the price is excessive. The cheese and pear bags are the highlight of the menu, they were very delicious. I found it generally very expensive for what they offer, even water costs €5. It cost almost €50 per person, most of us having ordered a single dish.

Favorite meal of our trip to Florence all around. Tried three different pasta dishes, all unbelievable. Our main courses were just as great. Couldn’t recommend it more, solo, as a couple, or a big group. The lighting is super cozy and the tables are rustic looking and comfortable. Friendly staff and just a fantastic dining experience.

If you are looking for a great Tuscan meal in Florence, you can't go wrong with Coquinarius. We were referred here by a friend in the restaurant business about a year ago. The food is fantastic, the pici pasta was divine and the wine pairing recommended by Nicollo was just to our taste. Coquinarius is on our list along with Enoteca Pitti e Gola and La Vetreria to visit each time we are in Florence! UPDATED 2/2025 Still a great place - mostly traditional Tuscan fare, with some more creative items. Very good wine list, and personable service. Still recommend!

The menu included reinterpretations of typical dishes from the region, all excellent. We ordered the house wine, which was also wonderful. We were very well attended to and even got a tasting of a house dish with pear, which was incredible, I recommend it. They also offered us the house limoncello, which was also great! We will definitely be back.

Jolie découverte. Un repas en amoureux délicieux. Nous avons passé une excellente soirée. Nos papilles étaient en émoi. Nous avons pris en guise d'antipasti un oeuf mollé à la crème au pecorino et courgettes et un poulpe grillé. En primi, nous avons pris des raviolis au fromage et à la poire et des tagliatelles au lapin. Pour la touche sucrée, un cheesecake à la mangue. De vrais cafés italiens. Tout était succulent. Le service était irréprochable. Accueil très agréable et sourires au RDV. Nous recommandons vivement.

Everything was excellent, I recommend the tail flan as an appetizer, it melts in the mouth, the Chianina ragù was very good, rabbit pappardella with carrot cream should be stirred well to savor all the flavors together. Very friendly waiters, thank you for everything. Super recommended

Coquinarius was our first dinner stop in Florence and it did not disappoint whatsoever. We got the tasting menu which was very affordable, and the selection of wines was wide ranging. Of note, the pear/rioctta ravioli was a truly stellar dish, but everything else was tasty as well. Would recommend to anyone visiting Florence.

Tasty food, friendly service, couldn't ask for better. Thank goodness we had a short walk back to hotel as we were very full! Would come back in a heartbeat. Grazie mille

Sabato sera Firenze in 3 coppie di amici ,location a 50 metri dal Duomo ,tavolo prenotato da un fiorentino Doc direi che la partenza e' ottima,conoscevo il locale ma non avendoci mai mangiato dico subito che e' stata una bella sorpresa positiva su tutto,il locale si presenta arredato in modo semplice ma con gusto retro',pareti arredate di bottiglie gli danno il tocco di enoteca,abbiamo assaggiato dei vari tipi di antipasto da condividere ed erano tutti buoni ,ottimi gli spaghettoni alle alici cantabriche e dei tortelloni pere e formaggio fuso,i secondi piatti per me sono stati i piu ' apprezzati dal piccione intero ripieno a degli ottimi filetti in varie salse cotti alla perfezione non come tante volte capita caldo fuori ghiaccio dentro o peggio ancora lo tagli e il piatto ti fa una pozza di sangue,ottimo il vino Ripasso Valpollicella consigliatoci dal bravo gestore,peccato che non abbiamo assaggiato i dolci sara' un motivo per tornare a trovarvi al piu' presto .un caro Ssluto Samuele da Poppi Arezzo.

This restaurant is centrally located, cosily decorated and delightfully staffed. As a solo traveller to have such care lavished upon you is a delight, the willingness to converse (even if it was split between broken Italian and good English), attention to detail and quality of the food and drink was fantastic. If you're capable of giving a little in the way of speaking Italian you will get more than a country mile back in change! Grazie mille!
