Excellent place in the central square of Moncalieri, you can enjoy simple toasts or dishes of the day, spacious and clean environment and very friendly staff.

The only thing I have to say about this place is that the best hot chocolate, by a MILE, that I had in Torino was at this place. In fact, it spoiled hot chocolate for me because I'm still trying to find a similar one.

I gave it 4 stars because I appreciated the view of the square, the vintage decor, and the courtesy of the young woman who served us. The croissants were delicious and very soft, but I found the bill at €17 (4 croissants, 3 coffees, and a juice) a bit high, especially considering the coffee was priced at €2.

27/01/2026: If I come for an aperitivo, I'd like to eat something, not just bring me two tiny cicinin. I say, "Aren't you going to give me the usual pizzas and olives?" Fine, but don't even give me two tiny cicinin because otherwise you'll just make a fool of yourself. That's exactly the point of an aperitivo in Italy: in addition to drinking whatever I want, the restaurant owner makes me eat to the point where I have to wonder whether to have dinner or not.

Le Roi Pizzeria Ristorante

18/02/2026: We tried this pizzeria on the recommendation of a friend. We mostly order the pan version. The dough and toppings are excellent, with a wide selection and always on time.
28/01/2026: I tried this pizzeria the other day. I was pleasantly surprised. I'd like to thank the delivery staff, especially a girl named Greta, who, if I'm not mistaken, was super nice and, since I'm pregnant, even walked up four floors just to deliver my pizza. Thank you ❤️
