Caffe Centrale In Marostica

We loved this place and Co at understand some negative reviews. We shared delicious homemade gnocchi with sage (fresh) and pumpkin sauce, then I had polpetta with polenta / roast potatoes and vegetables and my husband equally delicious creamed bacalau with polenta. We shared a yummy apple strudel. With non alcoholic drinks this all came to €62 which based on touring Italy from north to south was good value for good, fresh homemade food. The location is gorgeous and we had delightful friendly and attentive service. The prices and menu were clearly displayed but the waitress also talked though the menu. When we asked to share the primi piatti we were brought two plates both with a very ample serving. All in all a delightful lunch, thank you. The gnocchi in the photo is a half serving!
