We're from Barcelona and found this truly special and welcoming taverna. The food is made with excellent ingredients and cooked with love. They also have a spectacular selection of local wines. We loved it!

To experience real Italian food, as it is done here in Tuscany, this is a must. With a handwritten menu. Which is so delicious, by the way, that you lick your fingers. You sit outside relaxed and see the whole village walk by and join in. This is really celebrating a holiday.

Truly amazing dinner! We ended up here on the advice of a local and he was exactly right: immersed in a charming village, the restaurant is very well looked after, whilst maintaining a genuine soul. Attentive and friendly service, really good food. We highly recommend it!

15/04/2025: Siempre como era de esperar, comida fabulosa, especialmente la fabulosa carne bien colgada, uno de nuestros favoritos en Chianti. El personal es atento y Andrea es un chef que ama su comida, se nota en su cocina. Volveremos pronto.
01/03/2025: Simplemente maravilloso, la carne de res está tan bien colgada y es tan delicioso, Andrea es un maestro en cocinar durante una barbacoa caliente, vamos allí tan a menudo como podamos y volveremos a visitar cuando regrese este verano. Su bodega es variada y tiene vinos tintos encantadores. Es encantador sentarse afuera y cenar juntos o con amigos, es una posición encantadora.

25/08/2025: The waitresses, one with very long nails (hygiene?)🤐🤐 another with an angry face and the owner (?) also zero smiles zero courtesy, place not managed by Tuscans...... and poor and expensive dishes, almost tasteless the price not up to the quality of the food, expensive for quality food 👎 not to be repeated
