Excellent bar, in the center of the 4 streets, or rather at the crossroads between via Caracciolo and via Angelo Cosenza. Some outdoor tables. Excellent, but simple pastry. Free service. The staff (owner, wife and son) were very kind

What an absolute gem of a place. Stayed only a short walk in Piano and only wish we discovered it sooner. Great coffee, tasty fresh pastries. Just how I imagined family run Italian cafes.

Spent some days in South Italy with my mother, and had excellent coffee literally everywhere but had the best ones here. My mom called this place "il nostro bar"☺️, probably not only because of the great coffee, pastries and cakes, but the welcoming friendliness and kindness we experienced in this place. Hope we will have the chance to get back one day for another amazing rum babà.

With this place appearances can be deceiving! It is a humble place, without much glamour, but all that takes a backseat when you try their pastries (corsiant, sfogliatela, profiteroles) it is crazy. It is one of the best bakeries and pastry shops in Italy. Add to that the treatment of the staff is 10 out of 10!

Antonio is a top-level pastry chef. Brioches and staples that have no equal on the peninsula. Undisputed king of profiteroles. Very kind everyone Antonio and his son should be a world heritage site

22/08/2024: 08/17/2024 mussels and clams souté, rigatoni with cod: I liked them a lot. 08/18/2024 linguine al cartoccio and stocco in cassola: I liked them a lot. However: in the linguine the octopus was very hard, but the "caparrone" was very good (first time they served it to me in my life). I also really liked the stockfish, but I had to leave a small part of it there, because there were thorns, and it was very "fibrous", as if it hadn't been boiled enough. I had dinner there on Saturday 08/19/2022, my last evening in Naples. I liked it a lot. Good and tasty food. And a pleasant musical interlude from Mr. Michele, who sang "O sole mio" to us (please, leave a tip for this polite gentleman who will cheer up your evening). I recommend it and will return when I go to Naples again.
22/08/2024: Don't let the area put you off, great restaurant, great food, great ambience, great service, great prices. Always my pleasure.
