My wife and I picked up two pastries by chance. The staff were all so friendly and nice.. The lemony tart was amazing. Truly excellent. Sitting outside felt very cozy as well despite the traffic.

There are sweets, you can sit on the balcony, the owner is a very nice person, as is known, every city in Italy has its own tavern.

I had the pleasure of visiting this traditional pastry shop every day of my stay – except on Mondays, when they're closed, and that made me truly sad! Each visit was a little culinary highlight: Everything is made entirely by hand, from the fruit tarts to the delicate cream dessert with Nutella to the divine tiramisu. The salesperson deserves special mention: a tall, very friendly man who also speaks good English and sold me every single dessert with such passion and enjoyment – ​​you immediately notice the love of craftsmanship here. I really wish there were a pastry shop like this near me in Germany – unfortunately, the same attention to detail and traditional craftsmanship is often lacking here. A visit here is an absolute delight for all the senses and a must for anyone who appreciates fine pastry!

Caffè Caracciolo is a trusted name in the pastry and coffee world. The deli is also excellent. I highly recommend it.
