Caffe Bistrot Cassai In Firenze

An absolute gem of a cafe that we were lucky enough to wander into while exploring. Very friendly and welcoming. Absolutely fantastic food with a great attention to detail. Choosing from the daily menu, we had a burger and fries. The burger was seasoned in a subtle but perfect way to compliment the nice character of the beef. The fries were great as well. The housemade strudel for dessert was divine. Well worth the walk from historic downtown. We will absolutely be back again the next time we are in Firenze.

Great coffee prepared straight from the machine and delicious sweet pastries, a perfect place for a morning breakfast if you are in the area. You can also have a drink and eat a later meal here.

Beautiful family restaurant, excellent location, clean and welcoming (with a comfortable outdoor garden) Excellent quality of food with cheap prices. The owners are honest, willing workers. I can only recommend it for delicious breakfasts, delicious lunches and fun aperitifs.
