The pastry shop is good, but the same can't be said for the staff...one of them was, as they say locally, a perfect "Bovaro"!!! It was spooky.

Best cannoli I've ever had in Sicily. The shell was incredibly crispy, and the ricotta was delicate yet bold. If you're in Nicosia or just passing through, the cannoli at Caffè Battaglia is a must.

22/02/2025: A problem often encountered in Sicily is that getting from point A to point B, even just a few kilometers away, often takes a very long time due to the necessary breaks in between. Dolc'e is an example of this. During a trip between Catania and Cefalù, passing through Agira, I stopped in this laboratory specializing in Agira cassatelle. Well deserved stop!!!! Excellent cassatelle. If you switch to Agila, not stopping is an offense to the culture of Agila.
