Pasticceria Barberini is a wonderful stop for anyone with a sweet tooth. The pastries are fresh, well-made, and full of flavor without being overly sweet. Everything tastes carefully crafted, from the classic options to the more refined desserts. A great place to enjoy truly good pastries in Rome, simple, authentic, and consistently delicious.

Very friendly and fast service but the quality vs. price ratio is lacking.
Two pastries for take away cost 14 Euros.
The pistachio pastry mainly tasted of pistachio when I ate the fresh half pistachio piece on top (the other half was stale).
In Switzerland 🇨🇭 I eat pistachio pastries of a similar size at Sprüngli for 7.50 CHF (around 8.40 EUR) but the quality is a lot better.
The Ambra pastry is a little better but I can't fathom why a pastry made of peanuts, milk, sugar and a little caramel should cost 7 Euros.
The prices are not excessive compared to other cities in Europe but this is a suburb of Rome.
We are not in Vienna, not even in the center of Milan and the taste does not justify the expense.

The best croissant and coffee I've ever eaten or drunk! Everything is artisanal, fresh, and delicious, with a very clean, open-plan bakery. Excellent!
