Caffe Accademia In Roma

We have being travelling to Rome for the last 3 years and have always made a point to stop in at this restaurant and have had nothing but a great experience! Food and service has been excellent! Our waiter, Adriano has always been amazing! We have recommended this restaurant to all of our friends who have travelled to Rome and they too, have had a wonderful dining experience.

Good morning, first time in Rome, visiting the Trevi Fountain ❤️ while walking we came across this bar, I think it's also a restaurant 😅.. From the moment we entered the staff were helpful and polite in seating us, helpful and knowledgeable in explaining the food since my nephew is celiac. A great experience and highly recommended.

The food was average, although I was really worried about the reviews and ate nervously, thinking they were going to overcharge me. I actually paid exactly what the menu said, no more, no less. Everyone has a different experience.

Despite all the bad reviews, we were already seated with a group of nine. The menu clearly states that you pay extra for ingredients and service. The pizzas were excellent! Delicious. Unfortunately, a cola costs €9.

Not sure why everyone is leaving such bad reviews for this place. I went here and ate the best pasta I’ve ever tried. We were a party of 15(ish), we were quickly accomodated and served. I got the Alfredo pasta, and honestly, it was the best pasta I ate in my life. It was so obviously fresh and rich with ingredients. The only complaint I have is about the sassy waiter (middle aged, short, brunette man) who gave us a bit of attitude, which I really wouldn’t consider acceptable in customer service. Other than that, five stars.

The most expensive place in Rome! They asked if we wanted a small or large beer. We wanted a large and got a pitcher and had to pay €27 for it! €14 for a glass for wine, and €9 for a medium soda! Not worth it!

Had a lovley experience here this morning The honey and nut pastrie was the best I have ever had. To specify. We had 2 bottles of water 1 Redbull 2 pastries and a latte which came to 24 euros. In my eyes was a fine price to pay for a nice Caffè and food. British couple. Sometimes, being polite can go a long way

We walked into this place without looking at any reviews. The place is spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for a break. We ordered a few drinks (coffee, caffelatte, and a virgin mojito). They were decent, but some were quite expensive. The non-alcoholic mojito, in particular, cost €15, which seemed clearly disproportionate to us. It felt like one of those places more geared toward tourists. It wasn't a bad experience, but I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for a good value coffee shop.

Unfortunately I am only now reading the reviews of other unfortunate people who, like me, were victims of a less than transparent management of the evening. I will go into specifics… My wife asks for a medium beer and is told that their medium is 0.80 cl… too bad they charge you €18… in the dessert menu I chose 2 Sicilian cannoli, the price of which is not listed… the beauty of €14, with which I could have bought a half-kg cabaret of mixed fresh pastries. When ordering I was offered a focaccia to kill the wait... guess when it arrived... at the end of the meal... and the waiter was still acting brilliant trying to apologize saying that their pizza chef is an artist... and when making the focaccia he cooked it a bit too much and it came out late, ok that's fine, but in that moment you have two choices that a PROFESSIONAL in the sector can make, at least come to the table and let me know about the delay, and if you really want to make a good impression since we're talking about a banal white focaccia with a pinch of rosemary you offer it to me... not that you make me pay €11 for it... it costs more than the Margherita on the price list... and since the total amounted to €133... well, the 17% service charge is included... never again... evening after eating under the Vatican walls... except for the cannoli, I got the same things and even tastier, paid €59... shame... and the answer I read in doesn't exist another review…”given the context of the historic center”…in the face of the historic center…left side fast food…very narrow street with endless lines of people on foot on bikes and scooters, frontal view a beautiful super busy road…damn me, I even took the metro from the Colosseum to go there on purpose because I saw some nice dishes while passing by…only positive thing, let's say that everything was decent…at least that…anyway for the behavior in general 1 star as far as ever.
