Cafe Zanarini In Bologna

ZANARINI fantastic, wonderful, top class, around 1pm today I went up to the upstairs room, beautiful FRIDA led me to a beautiful table, today I had the millefeuille with Chantilly cream, fantastic, (photo), recommended to me by FRIDA, last time the 'pearls and rubies' (photo) white chocolate mousse and raspberry icing, equally fantastic, and both times delicious orange grapefruit juice, and cappuccino with whipped cream, desserts are always accompanied by whipped cream, and then a plate of delicious biscuits, and a large glass of mineral water included in the price of breakfast; great class, the g. the. or. the. to. to be in a place of real class, luxury, to sit and be happy; no other place in Bologna is like this, it's not just tradition, it's class, refinement; Zanarini like Cova and Marchesi in Milan, like Doney in Rome, the best; the service is naturally perfect; and the prices, to have an experience like this, I really willingly pay; those who complain about the prices are truly unworthy of ZANARINI, what do these people want, that in a place like this you pay like in any little bar in Bolognina?? who dares to rant about honesty, let him look at how a real gentleman has breakfast!!! I just left Zanarini and I'm still stunned. €5 for a savory croissant picked up at the counter? I've never seen such an exaggeration! Quality is one thing, taking advantage of people is another. On average the savory croissant varies from €3 to €4, never going beyond these figures, but in general never exceeding €3.50. The croissant I got was a standard size, with a ham and cheese filling that, to be honest, was nothing special. But is it possible that in a city like Bologna, rich in culinary tradition, we reach these excesses? Where has the simplicity and honesty of the past gone? I hope that Zanarini can review its price list and offer customers a fairer quality/price ratio.

It is the coffee shop, not a simple bar, par excellence in Bologna. If you want to enjoy a few minutes of the flavors of the city, this is definitely the right place. The hot chocolates, the typical "Zanarini" are absolutely exceptional. The venue is also large and offers plenty of seating. However, there is a lot of noise, and if you are looking for tranquility, perhaps it is not ideal. The service is good, and the staff are willing, but being busy due to the large influx, they sometimes have difficulty serving everyone

Almost negative experience... whoever served us was very unprepared for what concerns the request made (lovely wine) and to conclude, we witnessed what concerns the welcome of a non-Italian couple.... For my part, I believe that to be able to say or do something you always need ways 🤷
