Cafe Wandelhalle In Merano

A visit to Café Wandelhalle in Merano is a standard part of our itinerary whenever we're in South Tyrol. The service is always friendly and attentive, without exception. You can sit comfortably by the river (with the wonderful background noise) or under the arches and watch the passersby strolling by. They offer small snacks and drinks, and you can easily spend an entire day here with a good book.

We always enjoy being here. The friendly service particularly stands out.

A wonderful café with a historical atmosphere. I was very impressed by the fruit ice cream sundae, fresh fruit and super delicious ice cream. The cappuccino was also a dream 🌸! Definitely worth a visit!

Nice café right on the Passer river on the winter promenade. Coffee, hot chocolate, cake and ice cream were good. Service was friendly and prices were reasonable.

Ese es posiblemente el mejor lugar en Meran para descansar y relajarse. Un lugar tranquilo en el río - en el tráfico - no demasiado vanidoso - pero un gran lugar para un café y disfrutar del sol. Hermosas flores y árboles en el río y una bonita historia desde 1891 en adelante. El servicio es muy amable y los precios están bien.

Small bar with a splendid and large terrace under the portico of the promenade along Passirio. Breakfasts with a modest assortment of cakes and croissants, snacks, aperitifs, small outdoor play area for children. Quick and courteous service, relatively low prices, perhaps to compensate for the decentralized position which however is an advantage, an oasis in the greenery with a view of the river, without roads or car traffic. 200m from the shopping streets and close to the Roman bridge. An ideal starting or ending point for walks and excursions along the routes that wind from there. Very popular.

beautiful place on the promenades of Merano. evocative retro bistro, €6.30 for cappuccino and brioche are definitely too much, but the setting partly justifies them.

Unser absolutes LIEBLINGSCAFÉ in Meran. Leckerer Kaffee und Aperol, gute Weine. Die hausgemachten Knödel sind sehr zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und man fühlt sich als Gast einfach willkommen. Danke, für die immer wieder schöne Zeit.
