It's clear that this place is geared toward tourists. The ice cream is made from factory produce and the coffee is so-so. However, the service is friendly, and the promenade is busy. The restroom costs €1, even for customers!

Ese es posiblemente el mejor lugar en Meran para descansar y relajarse. Un lugar tranquilo en el río - en el tráfico - no demasiado vanidoso - pero un gran lugar para un café y disfrutar del sol. Hermosas flores y árboles en el río y una bonita historia desde 1891 en adelante. El servicio es muy amable y los precios están bien.

25/07/2025: I stayed here for three nights on half-board. Breakfast was plentiful. Dinner was always tasty and appetizing. The staff was helpful and courteous. It was a pleasure to feel welcomed into the family. The property is just steps from Piazza Nives. Pets are also welcome.
24/07/2025: Six of us stayed for three nights at the end of June. Although it is a three-star hotel, it has five-star service and catering. From parking, check-in to dining, every staff member provided friendly service. The hotel includes breakfast and dinner, which is really a great value. Especially the different dinners every day show the chef's dedication. This is a hotel we will definitely stay at again.

16/08/2025: Excellent dinner! We stumbled upon it by chance but immediately fell in love, so much so that we returned the next day. We were impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in preparing the dishes. On the first day (a little heavy from the previous days), we ordered a salad. It was rich and tasty (not ordinary for a salad). On the second day, we opted for the burger with local meat, which was also excellent! We were also very tempted by the pizza, but unfortunately, we were already out of time. If we return to Selva, we will definitely return. Unparalleled value for money.
05/08/2025: Excellent pizzas menu, delicious soups. Really nice and quick service.
