Cafe Merenda In Roma

This charming Ostiense caffè is just what the morning ordered. First rate espresso drinks that will please specialty coffee lovers and refined pastries that don't give an inch to the best that Paris has to offer (just be careful if you have them warm up a pain aux chocolat - that chocolate will get all over you =^). Questo caffè è uno dei migliori di Roma è noi siamo ingraziati che è tanto vicino a noi in San Saba.

Very good and welcoming atmosphere

Very simple but cozy cafe. The selection of pastries is excellent. I recommend the pain suisse but the others are also excellent. Unfortunately my drinks arrived lukewarm I would have preferred them to be hotter. Prices are in line with any puff pastry shop around €4/5.

Delicious food and matcha latte, but I was really disappointed, when waitress asked me to leave, because I have finished my food and they have other customers I recommend the place, but eat your food slowly

For me their Cream Bombs are the best I've eaten in Rome, but lately I haven't found them anymore, sometimes there are fried croissants, same dough, even more cream, delicious. The Specials are excellent and change frequently, currently there is a Super Tiramisu chest complete with a pump filled with coffee to add as you wish. There are often new yeasts to try. The puff pastry pizzas with plenty of tomato are amazing. They also make pancakes in both sweet and savory versions, but they don't convince me. I didn't like the classic toast, too thick slices of bread and too little filling, but there are many other savory options with imaginative fillings. Adequate venue with seating inside and out. A place to go for a delicious breakfast, but also just for an excellent cappuccino. Easy parking on nearby Via Ostiense.

Ottimo bar per la colazione che propone paste alla francese davvero ben fatte e sempre fresche. Non do 5 stelle perché il prezzo è considerevole, 6 euro una brioche, per quanto buona, è un po' eccessivo.

Sono stata invitata per una colazione in questo piccolo locale. Personale cortese e sorridente, bella pasticceria con opzioni anche per vegani. Ottima la veneziana ripiena di tantissima crema. Tavolini anche fuori. Prezzi sopra la media
