Conveniently located near the historic center. There are tables outside. It's very crowded in the morning, so it's best to go when it's quieter and less crowded. You can hear the chatter of passersby because it's located under the arcades. There's an indoor dining area. Also ideal for a quick lunch.

Taking a short stop to drink an excellent coffy is worth it, if you are then served by 2 kind, friendly waiters Alberto and Reinaldo with a smile on their lips it is the TOP. THANK YOU. A leading coffee shop located under the famous Collegio porticoes (an iconic spot for Modena's classic "vasca" coffee). The young, courteous, and professional staff are friendly and professional. Recently renovated.

Extremely professional and helpful salesperson. Even though his English isn't crystal clear, he did everything he could to try to understand us and guide us. The canoli, sandwiches, and balsamic vinegar are super good! Thank you 🇮🇹🇨🇵

La Zampanella

19/11/2025: I'd never eaten zampanella before, and I was surprised by how good they were. Various and tasty offerings. Rustic yet welcoming place located in a village with a panoramic view. Not exactly convenient to get to, but worth it. I recommend it.

14/12/2025: Renovated restaurant. Prompt and courteous service. We've been there for lunch and dinner. The pizzas and desserts are also excellent. We recommend it.
26/11/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant for the first time. We were completely satisfied with the quality of the ingredients and the friendly service. The pasta with sardines and the grilled fish were excellent! We'll be back.
