Whenever we're in Bardolino, which happens quite often, we always go to Café Italia. The seating is stunningly beautiful by the lake, and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. The XXL Spritzers are gigantic, and the food is phenomenal.

We like to come here for an Aperol Spritz, but we've never actually eaten there. The Aperol Spritz comes with a generous portion of snacks, which is why the drink (which is also quite large) is a bit more expensive. In my opinion, that's very fair. One out of every five times, the service isn't great, and the atmosphere depends more on the time of year and therefore the number of tourists.

Café Italie is a nice place in Bardolino. The Aperol Spritz is large, and it comes with a generous plate of snacks included in the price. The ambiance is questionable and not very cozy. The lighting is too bright, and there are dust collectors everywhere.

"Don't stop at reading the menu" .... it seems expensive but in addition to the location overlooking the lake, it offers dishes for everyone, carefully prepared, excellent and abundant. In the end, the quality/price ratio is right.

We didn't eat anything, just had a drink. The seating is very comfortable, the servers are prompt, and you're offered something to nibble on.

We've been here twice already, and the location is really nice 😍
Of course, it's more expensive than elsewhere, but you can definitely treat yourself to something like this once (or a second or third or ....) 😇
The toilet, yes, it is indeed underground 🤐
