Food & drinks are fine, service very friendly, BUT: only one toilet where you have to queue in front of.

Great location and XL Spritz are great. The restroom is a disgrace. 1!!!!! In other words, "ONE" unisex restroom for what feels like 300 guests. I'd take the daily takings and build four clean restrooms.

Enjoy a delicious cappuccino in the morning! That's truly Italian🇮🇹. The cappuccino here is excellent. A large cup with fresh milk clearly shows they're good at it. The service on the terrace... they're not very enthusiastic in the morning. With a look of "what are you doing?" they drop five menus on the table while we're just getting coffee. There's also a lot of attention on our phones and nails. So... there's still room for improvement there. It's also a beautiful spot on the boulevard with a view of Lake Garda.

A touristy bar, with moderately high prices, very poor service, one bathroom only for men, women, and disabled guests, hundreds of seats, and a 30-minute wait.
The only redeeming feature is the scenery.

The staff is okay; a friendly smile would have been nice for some of them occasionally, but in my opinion, service also includes a decent restroom, and that's where things are seriously lacking: hundreds of seats and only one restroom, for men and women. Waiting at the end of the ever-present line is routine, and a quick trip to the restroom before dinner is out of the question. So, not for those with a weak bladder.

Unfortunately, it's no longer what it used to be! Prices have skyrocketed, but the quality has declined! The place is called
Café Italia, and they don't serve Crodino, San Bitter, or Gingerino???
But they do have a huge selection of Spritz, but only in XXL format for €16. I can't recommend the fish and chips...

A very hot day trip to Bardolino found us popping in to Cafe Italia for a break from the sun and some refreshments.
Café Italia is in a prime lake side location within Bardolino and proved to be a good choice to stop over for drinks.
Tables with a superb view of Lake Garda are available or if you want something slightly set back or even inside then Cafe Italia can offer all of these.
Drinks were cool, the fans were on and the service was good…. What more could you ask for.
If you find yourself in Bardolino, pop by and give Cafe Italia a try.
