All the desserts, like cakes and pastries, are a real treat and are baked by the friendly owner herself. Uncomplicated and genuine South Tyrolean hospitality!

02/01/2026: We were here on New Year's Day after a hike and enjoyed delicious apple strudel and mango cake. The service was very friendly.

05/04/2026: We visited Café Wandelhalle and were absolutely delighted. The location right on the banks of the Passer River is beautiful and offers a breathtaking view of the river and the surrounding landscape. Quiet, charming, and yet right in the heart of Merano – simply perfect. The ambiance has a nostalgic feel, reminiscent of the classic spa town atmosphere of bygone days. The outdoor seating area is particularly relaxing, allowing you to enjoy the lively scene along the promenade. The service was friendly, attentive, and warm. The drinks were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing break during a stroll or for a leisurely afternoon coffee. A traditional café with style, charm, and a superb location – we'll definitely be back.
