10/02/2026: It's a place halfway between sophisticated and casual. It's definitely popular. It's located just steps from Piazza Cairoli, making it very central. The meat on the menu is top-notch. The wagghiù is excellent, making for a truly unique culinary experience. The paccheri with Nebrodi black pork ragù are wonderful and I highly recommend them. I tried the traditional version, but there's also a version with a dusting of bitter cocoa. The vegetables are also delicious and perfectly cooked. Service is quite quick, and the staff is attentive, polite, and very helpful.

09/02/2026: I often visit Macelleria Lombardo in Messina on Via Garibaldi, and I can say it's truly excellent in every way. I love everything about it: from the butcher's shop to the delicatessen, right down to the deli section. The products are always incredibly fresh, top-quality, and offer a truly unique and refined selection that's hard to find elsewhere. You can sense the care taken in selecting the ingredients and the attention to detail in every aspect. The deli is also excellent, with tasty and always inviting dishes. A great strength is the staff: friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer the best advice with professionalism and courtesy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality, variety, and impeccable service in Messina!
