Cafe Carducci In Verona

My wife and I visited the restaurant on July 16, 2024. We ate fantastic hams and sausages for starters. Never tasted anything like it. Their tortilini which we ate as a main course was of the same high class. Can really recommend a visit.

Café Carducci an incredible restaurant and reasonably priced. A hidden gem off the beaten track that you should not miss out on. You can tell that they take great pride in themselves from the detailed aesthetic of their own beautifully branded plates and pretty, internally patterned pergodas, to the pleasing food. The prawns with homemade pasta was the best I have ever tasted and the tartare is exquisite. There is a wonderful selection of food & drinks to choose from and great service.

Nice concept (open kitchen) and tasty dishes. The price of wine by the glass seemed very high to me and inversely proportional to the quantity received...I did not leave the restaurant wildly enthusiastic because this open kitchen should precisely allow a minimum exchange between the cooks and the customers, which is not absolutely not the case. In summary, a slight disappointment compared to my expectations.

Entering a place that appears historic and is actually "only" fifteen years old. How many times has this happened to us? Given the rampant craze for artfully aging bars, restaurants or pastry shops. The Carducci should be included in this type of environment, except that in this case the work was very successful, thanks to the masterful talent of Mario Santini, number one among Veronese interior designers. Everything has been taken care of down to the smallest detail. A cafeteria has recently been added to the "old" restaurant which perfectly respects the canons of the first. There is nothing to complain about the (open) cuisine, but cheese lovers should know that here they will find a choice of great caliber, made even more evident by the fact that in Verona there is NOT a barely acceptable choice in competing restaurants.

We went for breakfast and it was incredible. The staff very friendly and pleasant. I think that if you go to Verona you should definitely go for breakfast. Inside it is beautiful, with several rooms. The coffee and croissants are delicious. Plus, the price is great. It is located 8 minutes walk

Breakfast is just the bomb! The atmosphere is also great If we return to Verona, we will definitely go here
