Popular spot among students. They offer sandwiches, toasts, eggs, and pancakes until around 10. Portions are small, but the staff is friendly and welcoming.

Caconero was my favorite place in Venice. Why? Because you feel completely at ease there – thanks to the friendliness and warmth of the staff and the quality of the food and wine. It's located away from the tourist crowds in Dorsoduro, and instead of Venice's standard menu, you'll find a different, more creative, yet deeply Italian cuisine, prepared with great care. I already miss it as I write this, so I hope to see you again soon, and mille grazie!

Liberal cafe with great music and even coffee. So polite and nice people working here. In front of a great, quiet canal.

A place I've been frequenting for years, yet it has never betrayed its mission: a constantly evolving menu, changing every week and offering something different that always pleases everyone. It's rare to see a table where everyone orders the same dish, because—apparently—the magic of their menus is to appeal to every diner's appetite. The food is always excellent, the wines well-selected, and the staff is so courteous that sometimes it makes you forget you're not at home. ❤️

Beautiful place, small but good, located in an area not crowded like many others in Venice, perfect for students, to spend a breakfast or lunch break, varied menu between sweet and savory, recommended 👍🏻

An experience that is out of the ordinary in Venice, while remaining in the pure Italian tradition, whether for the atmosphere, the quality of the dishes, the charm of the district far from tourists... All at a really very reasonable price!!
