Excellent cacio e pepe and very good carbonara in a easy going setting. Also puntarelle were good and the house wine it's fine for the price. Altogether, considering the portions and prices on top of the quality, it's a great place. And especially it's not a tourist trap

An excellent experience for those seeking the typical atmosphere of a Roman inn. Rustic decor, cheerfulness, authenticity, and above all, a traditional Roman menu prepared expertly at fair prices. It's not run like a tourist restaurant... Well done, I'll definitely be back.

Outdoor seating only, with eco-friendly gas-fired mushrooms. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe are delicious, sincere, and homemade. The saltimbocca alla romana is lacking (the meat is raw, not hot, and it's also expensive for what it is).

They were extremely helpful, even managing to seat nine of us at short notice. The gricia we ate was excellent. The service was impeccable and fast. Highly recommended!

We came because of the reviews and it exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious. We ordered cacio e pepe pasta, lentils, house wine, mineral water, and tiramisu! It was truly delicious and tasted homemade. The place filled up in minutes. The service was impeccable.

Cena veloce post concerto. Piatti senza infamia e senza lode (una specie di Gateau di Patate ed una porzione di tonnarelli alla gricia poco amalgamati). Prezzi un po' alti per essere una trattoria. Servizio impeccabile. La pecca più grossa: solita insopportabile modalità del pre-conto non convertito in scontrino fiscale.

Mi amiga Patrizia quería probar un buen plato de pasta alla amatriciana. Elegimos este restaurante de una recomendación de un amigo. Nos sentamos afuera en el patio. El menú está IT escrito en una pizarra de tiza y creo que cambia a diario. Empezamos con un plato de albóndigas con salsa de tomate. Muy tierno con mucho sabor. Excelente. Obtuvo su pasta de amatriciana. La pasta estaba al dente, la salsa estaba rica y llena de sabor. También excelente. Elegí pollo con pimientos y aceitunas. El pollo estaba muy tierno , la salsa elogió muy bien al pollo . También excelente. Gran servicio. Precio muy razonable. Lejos de la calle llena de gente de Roma

09/12/2025: A small restaurant in the Trastevere area. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't great: the supplì sauce was a bit acidic, and the amatriciana tasted far removed from those I've tried at other restaurants. The puntarelle were fresh, but didn't blend well with the vinegar and sardines.
09/12/2025: Papa Re, located in Trastevere, is certainly one of those unique places with authentic Roman food. For a good meal, with a main course and a quarter of a glass of wine served in this charming jug, you will spend around €15. The food is very tasty, the wine is of good quality, and the atmosphere is comfortable. The place has a bathroom and free Wi-Fi for customers.

11/12/2025: I rarely leave reviews, but this place is well worth it! As soon as you walk in, the welcoming atmosphere immediately puts you at ease. What I appreciated most was the atmosphere: finally, a place where you can chat in peace without having to shout over the background noise. That's a real plus! As for the food, the quality is unquestionable. The ingredients are excellent, and it shows. The pizza is the real star: light and crispy, Roman-style, just how I like it. The service is excellent. The staff are attentive and fast, managing the dining room with professionalism. And then there's the owner, a truly friendly guy who makes all the difference, adding a personal touch and making you feel like a welcome guest. If you're looking for a relaxed dinner, with exceptional pizza and the perfect atmosphere for socializing, this is the place. Highly recommended!
08/12/2025: A very popular place, with tables that are well-optimized. The food is good and not overpriced, but I'd avoid the table near the exit door.
