Centrally located, the staff are incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. The food is exceptionally good. I honestly think this restaurant can easily be considered one of the best in Rome. As I write this review, I'm eating the best amatriciana I've ever had! EXCEPTIONAL.

I'm just speaking from my own experience... you bet on a number and nothing... let's call it bad luck! I wanted a carbonara and I got a nice plate, but it was just worth photographing, tasteless pasta. Let's call it bad luck!!

I ordered the gricia, which was a little dry but tasted good. It's a small place, so you can eat outside. If you're unpretentious, it's fine.

A small place in Prati, with outdoor seating, a covered area, and a patio heater for colder months. Typical Roman cuisine, with generous portions (even half portions are enough) and well-seasoned. The prices are reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. The staff is young, professional, and very friendly. Definitely worth a try. I'll always be happy to return! Reservations recommended.

Amazing food and service at this ‘local’ restaurant in Rome. Far better than in the more tourist filled neighborhood’s. It was a rainy evening but not too cold for February. Dining outdoors under the canopy with heat lamps we were warm and comfortable. The Cacio E Pepe was perfect. The pasta al dente and so flavourful. We started with the braised artichoke and a salad. Unfortunately we were too full and didn’t have dessert. I highly recommend venturing away from the crowds and heading here.

It was a wonderful evening spent with the family—there were six of us, including four children. A great strength of the restaurant is the option to order a half portion—something far from standard—which allows you to sample, in a single dinner, four great Roman pasta classics, as well as other specialties. The tender beef, lemon meatballs, and Roman-style artichokes, prepared authentically and richly flavorful, are particularly noteworthy. The service makes you feel at home, in a familiar and welcoming environment, without rushing. This makes the experience even more enjoyable and enhances the rustic and authentically Roman atmosphere of the trattoria. A restaurant absolutely recommended, one to remember, and one to which you will gladly return.

Osteria Furlani

06/02/2026: Restaurant located in the center of Grottaferrata. You can taste traditional Roman and Castelli dishes. The quality of the preparation is high, both due to the quality of the ingredients and the skill of the kitchen staff. The staff is extremely friendly.
25/01/2026: This small, family-run restaurant captivates from the moment you arrive with its simple, authentic atmosphere. The cuisine perfectly reflects the house's spirit: traditional, unfussy dishes, carefully prepared using excellent ingredients. The tripe is a true highlight: soft, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, a dish that harks back to the flavors of yesteryear. Also not to be missed is the polenta with sausage, creamy and enveloping, with a rich, flavorful sauce. The artichoke alla giudia, fried to perfection, is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, a delight that will win over even those who aren't artichoke fans. Friendly, family-style service, fair prices, and a cuisine that captures tradition and authenticity in every dish. A truly delightful discovery for those seeking authentic flavors and a friendly atmosphere. P.S. This is a small, cozy restaurant; reservations are recommended.
