Seafood and meat menus, sophisticated dishes, and generous portions, always seating over twenty people. It's on the first floor, but there's an elevator. After lunch, the manager sings with the guests upon request. Incredible? Seeing is believing.

Same old place, same old dishes, same old service. I recommend it on weekdays.
The prices, however, have changed, and until a few months ago you could get by on an average of 30 euros for a fairly complete dinner; now they're around 40.
While it used to be a place known for its reasonably good, simple, and light-hearted food, it's now become just another restaurant. What a shame!

"Caciaia in Banditella" is more than just a restaurant – it's a true highlight in Livorno, especially for guests of the Hotel Universal. Outstanding service, warm and attentive staff, a generous portion of Italian hospitality, and magnificent, delicious food make every visit unforgettable.
The signature of owner Rosario Costanzi (known as Gangio) is particularly noticeable; he gives his restaurant its unique charm with passion, friendliness, and a keen sense of atmosphere.

First time here, and I have to say we had a wonderful time. Dinner on the terrace with a sunset, delicious black rice, and crispy fried squid and shrimp. Dessert, wine, and coffee were all served courteously. I highly recommend it.
