Ca' Lilli In Loano

We came for two days and discovered Gianfranco's restaurant by chance. We had a wonderful time because we found truly excellent cuisine, a very, very nice place with an outdoor terrace in a very welcoming little square in Loano. Gianfranco is truly a restaurateur who stands out from the rest: very friendly, knowledgeable, and great company. Excellent food, excellent wine. We had a great time. I highly recommend it!!!

I finally managed to dine at Ca' Lilli and was delighted with the welcome, the food, and the service. The seafood tapas were delicious, and the paella was superb. A place where you can enjoy paella as well as traditional Ligurian dishes, some of which are served as tapas. Delicious desserts, with decent portions. Friendly and fast service. Recommended.

I had dinner at this small but very cute and welcoming restaurant. We dined outside since the temperature was warm enough. A wide selection of dishes and, as the name suggests, "not just paella." The seafood tapas and the meat and borage ravioli are highly recommended! Very helpful and welcoming staff. Recommended for a dinner for two or with the family! We'll gladly return.

We went to this restaurant for the much-hyped paella, both online and in Loano, ALSO advertising Ligurian dishes. When we got there, however, they were pushing the local dishes a lot (rightfully so). Unfortunately, I expected the paella to be fresh, with a wait of approximately 22 minutes for it to be cooked in the pan, so it could be served like that (as the owner had told me a few days earlier when I booked). Instead, I saw it already prepared (who knows how long ago, kept warm in steel baking dishes), so it was served a few minutes after finishing the first course. The paella was decent and lukewarm (the buridda was good). Then, when clearing the table, they also took away my napkin, which I then had to use the wife's, after the sweet and the bitter (very limited choice, limoncino or mirto). Perhaps it would be better to advertise the Ligurian dishes more, since the paella is almost completely left aside during the ordering process. It almost seems like a decoy. Friendly and welcoming staff, cheerful owner. IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER'S RESPONSE: I don't understand your response. First of all, I didn't offend you like you did me. I just noted that despite the heavy advertising for the paella, which I came for and didn't appreciate, the dishes you promote most are the Ligurian ones, which, from what I've seen, are actually good. I suggest you accept the less-than-positive comments to grow your restaurant and not to offend your customers, who are entitled to their opinions.

I piatti lasciano il segno molto buoni curati e la tradizione viene confermata ogni volta. In questa settimana sono già passato due volte ma prima di partire ritorno sicuramente
