Passing by we stopped for lunch. Excellent welcome; entrée with prosecco and savory snacks anticipated our choices.
Excellent menu, consisting of free choice or combined with different costs.
Decently stocked cellar and for all budgets.
Excellent cuisine, from appetizers to desserts.
The kindness and availability make you feel pampered.
Not a dispersive place, well-kept and well-furnished. Only after finishing we realized that, in front of the restaurant, there is the possibility of staying overnight. On average you spend between 40/50 € per person for a more complete menu excluding drinks.

eccellente! la location è quella di una volta, rivisitata e modernizzata. L'impatto con il tramonto del sole è d'effetto. Le colline e il panorama fanno la loro parte. Mise en place buona e curata, ottimo lasciare una piccola mise en bouche sul tavolo con un calice di prosecco fresco. buona la carta e i patti della tradizione scelti. Consiglio antipasti misti, carne cruda (ottima), peperoni in bagna cauda, vitello tonnato (wow), tagliolini freschi con asparagi e panna, sorbetto arancia e campari. Ci sono anche i menù offerti in varie tipologie. Un buon servizio, toilette in ordine, spazi comuni anche.Il boss è simpatico e disponibile. I prezzi in linea. Torneremo ancora. Convenite?

There were two of us for lunch on Sunday, fixed but very varied menu, but with an excellent choice of combinations. We opted for a main course starter and sweet wine, an excellent Barbera DOC from the area in a bottle and including water, we spent €75 for two. If I'm not mistaken, 5 or six really good appetizers, for the second course an excellent Piedmontese mixed fry cooked well and dry and a stew... top, for dessert we chose the bunet, it wasn't bad but it can definitely be improved... All in all an excellent lunch with the very friendly owner who serves the tables

Impeccable service, traditional Monferrato dishes served with taste and finesse. The staff is exquisitely kind. The owner is friendly and always available to meet the customer's needs wherever possible. Always up to the task.

Erano tantissimi anni che non tornavo in questo ristorante, certamente ancora sotto l’antica gestione.
Come lo ricordavo ottimo allora, così lo ritrovato oggi.
Non usano un menù alla carta, ma cinque menù degustazione scegliendo quali, delle tante portate proposte, quale combinazione scegliere.
Cucina monferrina, ottima qualità, servizio molto cortese, ottimizzazione dello stesso in tutta la sala e offroni anche il bis (cosa che ho apprezzato moltissimo).
Non ho scelto un menù completo, forse sto invecchiando o forse le portate sono sufficientemente adeguate.
Una cosa è certa, ci torneremo un po’ più spesso.

Sunday lunch at the restaurant for 4.
Excellent service, appetizer menu + 1 dish (first or second), barbera and water included, €38 each. Then dessert and coffee. Starters: mixed cold cuts, carpaccio, veal with tuna sauce, cotechino, vegetable flan, peppers in bagna cauda. Encore of first courses risotto with artichokes, and agnolotti with braised meat sauce. 2 seconds of mixed fried food. Then semifreddo and coffee. Capello's Barbera 14° is good. We will be back.
