An authentic corner of Venice
The Ca' d'Oro alla Vedova restaurant is an intimate place with a homely feel, where you can breathe in a welcoming and familiar atmosphere. The staff is very kind and makes you feel at home right away. The dishes are truly exquisite, prepared with care and quality ingredients, a special mention goes to the meatballs, simply delicious! The quality-price ratio is also excellent, which is not a given in Venice. We will definitely be back.

I’ve never not eaten a meal - but this pasta tasted like fish smells… aka not at all appetizing. Same thing for the crab pasta. The “fried fish” secondi included shrimp which was an issue for the person in our group who has a shellfish allergy. Those in our group who ordered non seafood entrees enjoyed their meals.

I went on the recommendation of a tour guide on a Venice tour. I had some Bavette with pesto, very delicious and the portion was very generous. I had a glass of wine and a water and paid a total of 27 euros.
I wasn't very pleased with the service, even though I went early and there was hardly anyone there.

A really nice place, but too touristy. The service was rather rude, and the food was rather average. The nero di seppia was just pasta with black sauce. Not a single piece of squid. You can get better options in Venice, for example, on the Giudecca.

the food nothing special. We reserved a table for two well in advance, and they sat us at a table for 4 with two strangers next to us, which would not be a problem if it had not been reserved in advance, but if someone calls you two weeks before to reserve a table for two, give them a table for two
