Insider tip!!! This is an old school restaurant. The interior is kept in its original, rustic old condition. Food is excellent. We had mixed seafood as a starter, so a bit of everything (octopus salad, grilled sardines, sardines in soar, mussels on mashed potatoes, fish spread, polenta,...) and as a main course linguini with squid ink and spaghetti with shrimp, tomatoes and chili. Served by a very friendly, attentive and quick staff. But it's important not to forget to reserve!!! There's only one thing left for me... THANK YOU 👌🏻👍🏻 Perfeto!!!

Not a very big place, very crowded but nevertheless welcoming and with a homely style.
Being so full of people, they put more people in a long table, so you had dinner at the same table with other people in a narrow corner.
As for the service, it was very fast, a little too fast, but justified by the fact that they do three shifts in one evening.
Friendly staff but not too much.
The most appreciated dish was the Venetian liver served with polenta, delicious. The widow's meatballs are also very popular, hot and tasty.
Homemade dishes, lots of seasoning but slightly small portions.
Value for money justified by the fact that it is in Venice, but not so convenient.

Big favorite, I loved it! My pasta was excellent. The meat croquettes were also very good. I highly recommend!!! A bit of a wait but worth it 100 times over.

We went to this restaurant after reading about it on social media and were satisfied. The restaurant is historic, open since 1861, it is not one of the usual restaurants for tourists, in fact on the menu we find almost exclusively typical dishes. The place is small but welcoming. We enjoyed all the dishes we ate. Honest prices in line with Venice prices and generous portions. I would definitely stay here again.

The place is a typical Venetian trattoria, without too many pretensions. The menu includes both fish and meat dishes, typical of Venetian cuisine. The food was very good, not greasy, with fresh ingredients. The staff was friendly and available to meet our requests. Good value for money. The fame for their meatballs is deserved.
