Very good food, a wide selection of seafood and fish dishes, home-style cooking, but with careful plating and sophisticated flavor combinations.
The staff is very friendly and helpful; for me, who is lactose intolerant, they even brought a dessert from the menu, adapting it to my needs.
The only thing that's a bit off-putting is the location, which is divided into two parts. The inner room is bright and better maintained, while the other room is decidedly darker, with dark orange walls and dim table lights. Both rooms, however, are decorated with fun and unique paintings.
Excellent value for money. If we ever come to Sestri Levante again, we'll definitely be back.

Myself, my partner and our 1 and a half year old baby returned to this beautiful restaurant.
The welcome, availability and kindness of the owner are super. The dishes are carefully prepared, plentiful and made with excellent quality raw materials.
The menu is varied and there was also a list of seasonal off-menu items.
Too bad we couldn't taste more than we ate.

Ogni volta che veniamo a Sestri ceniamo in questo locale curato e accogliente. Menù che mixa tradizione e modernità, ottima qualità dei prodotti curati con estro dallo chef. I nostri preferiti sono baccalà mantecato su crostini di ceci, zuppa di pesce e grigliata. Gradevole anche il vino della casa e la scelta di birra Gaia. La cortesia dei proprietari completa la gradevole esperienza.

We ate in this tavern which is not located in the alley of the historic center but is no less popular for this reason. The environment is rustic and moderately well-kept. The menu offers a good choice and differs a little from the usual dishes found in many restaurants in the area. Of particular note is the off-menu menu, almost richer than the menu itself. Wine list adequate for the venue and some non-obvious bottled beers. The food we ate was cooked reasonably well, some dishes better, others less so. A flaw worth mentioning is the use of balsamic vinegar glaze even when not mentioned among the ingredients, which is something to avoid. Friendly staff. Bitters offered and correct bill.

Wir hatten ein Pasta- und ein Fischgericht. Beide Gerichte haben geschmeckt, aber so richtig umgehauen haben sie uns beide nicht. Die Portionen sind zu klein und insgesamt stimmt das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nach unserer Meinung nicht.
