We chose to stay outside of the Florence City center for a reason. While everyone was in the coop waiting for a broken computer system, I somehow stumbled upon this great little cafe. Had a delicious Croissant and my cappuccino was spectacular. I was the only tourist there so I figured I was on to something great. 😂

Good coffee. We ordered a focaccia with cold cuts, which he warmed up a bit, but it was still quite cold. I was speaking to him in English so we could understand each other, and suddenly they started laughing among themselves. I don't know if it was a joke or if they were making fun of me. If it was the former, tell the customer and we'll all laugh. If it's the latter, it's disrespectful and unprofessional. You're in a busy shopping center, not a bar tucked away in a back alley. It doesn't look good on customers. The place is nice, but the service leaves a lot to be desired.

A quiet corner amidst the chaos of the San Donato shopping center. A place where you feel at home. Fresh produce, exceptional coffee, and above all, the kindness of the staff. Daniele and Vito in particular are kind, professional, and attentive to your every need. Above all, they're always smiling and ready for a quick chat that will brighten your day. Highly recommended.

Polite baristas, delicious coffee. I forgot my shopper at the bar, came back some time later and they kindly returned it to me. I recommend visiting.

12/03/2026: I spent Carnival night there. The venue was great, the spectacle was fabulous and the complimentary Prosecco was very good, probably sponsored by the event organisers. There was a huge buffet, but it was difficult to reach the food because there were so many people. There was great music and entertainment.

19/02/2026: The menu is plentiful and good quality. It's a buffet, which isn't often the case with aperitifs these days. The drinks are also good.
13/02/2026: Apricena starts at €18 (the price is NOT €15 as it appears in the photos), the price may increase depending on the drink you choose to accompany your food. The food is quite varied, but only one (1) dish is meat-based, namely chicken wings. Only four dishes are kept warm; all the others (pasta, pizza, casseroles, etc.) are not kept warm but served cold. The place is nice, spacious, and quiet. WiFi is available (a necessity as there is no internet connection inside). I think they need to offer at least two or three more meat-based options and, above all, more hot food to encourage customers to return.
