Stunning location, especially in the "temple" room; excellent dishes, house appetizer and super pad Thai; fast service with a warm welcome.

The food is actually good - and the manager whom I met at the end was super attentive. His team though , were a different thing, kinda impolite and not attentive at all. Also very pricey in my point of view , over €60 for one antipasto one main and one dessert and a coke…

The appetizer and main course I chose were good. I didn't particularly like one of the two desserts we ordered, the Wun Kat, a pandan-flavored coconut milk jelly, but that's a matter of personal preference. The location is beautiful and very close to the Porta Genova metro station. Having never been to Thailand, I'm not sure how refined the menu and ambiance are, but for a pleasant evening, it's worth a try.

It was a truly perfect lunch! I went with some colleagues, and we were greeted warmly from the moment we arrived. The place is WOW! I was speechless, from the mezzanine to the bathroom! Many thanks to John Marco who served us! See you soon!

I love it! A beautiful place with attention to every detail. Very friendly staff. Fast service and mouth-watering dishes. I recommend the first courses (spectacular) and the appetizers (high prices and a rather modest main course). A bit pricey, but worth the effort!

The food and service were excellent, especially the duck and pad thai; the prices were less excellent; a €17 portion of duck was very meager...everything was very overpriced, especially the €4 cover charge per person.

Sono stata in questo ristorante spinta dalle ottime recensioni… e posso dire che le aspettative sono state non solo confermate, ma superate! Appena entrata, l’atmosfera calda e curata mi ha subito trasportata in Thailandia. Il personale è gentilissimo, attento ma mai invadente. Il cibo? Semplicemente delizioso. Ho provato il Pad Thai Kung (forse il migliore mai mangiato in Italia!), l’anatra e un antipasto mix: tutto equilibrato, speziato al punto giusto e con ingredienti freschissimi. Anche le porzioni sono abbondanti ma non esagerate. Prezzi onesti per la qualità, e soprattutto un’esperienza autentica. Se amate la cucina thailandese o volete scoprirla per la prima volta, questo è il posto giusto.

Hu Shikan Cinese Oriente

07/12/2025: Chang's is legendary, a milestone in my life and in the area. I've been going there since 1997, and it's always been there, only aged. The dishes have the same characteristics and flavors, which is no small feat. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but you eat well for little money. It's an old-fashioned restaurant, bucking the trend of modern all-you-can-eat restaurants. Chang's forever!
24/07/2025: I came for dinner a few weeks ago with my dad and I can confirm that it's a fantastic place and the food is equally as good. Plus, the owners are incredibly kind and always smiling. I recommend it to everyone because it's a truly beautiful place.
