A charming, well-maintained small restaurant in the style of a village trattoria.
There's not much to say: excellent food, a lovely, quiet, homey atmosphere, and friendly staff.
The typical Roman dishes were excellent, as were the prices (booked through The Fork with a 50% discount on dishes).
I highly recommend it for a lunch with friends to sample traditional dishes in a restaurant that's anything but touristy!
The only downside: the coffee. Unfortunately, it arrived with a strong burnt taste and wasn't at all pleasant. 😕

Located in a quiet area near the Basilica of St. Paul, this restaurant offers a good selection of high-quality dishes. The service was quick and satisfying, and I booked with The Fork, which was a great value. Their cacio e pepe was delicious!

I went for dinner and I have to say I had a really good time. The two of us went for dinner, we booked through The Fork and paid 50% off. Typical Roman dishes and more, a truly great variety of appetizers, first courses, and second courses. We had two bruschettas as appetizers and they were really good. Then there were two first courses, pappardelle with wild boar and tonnarelli with sea bass, pecorino cheese, and truffle. We devoured them!!! Truly excellent. Generous portions and lots of sauce. Really much appreciated 🤩 Definitely worth returning for lunch, as they also have a set menu. Highly recommended!! 👍

Two welcome proseccos
Two bruschettas with tomato
Two first courses to choose from
Both were very good, including the homemade gnocco with butter and sage, simple yet flavorful
For dessert, we could choose between a lemon sorbet and a granita with cream and coffee amaretti biscuits
Overall, we had a great time and would love to return to try other dishes

Very nice and welcoming place, it doesn't even seem like you're in Rome for the tranquility of the environment. Excellent food and friendly and helpful staff. Really excellent value for money, you can find very good traditional dishes. Highly recommended

Pasta buona, antipasti nella media ma comunque di buona qualità, un po’ piccoli i secondi, soprattutto le scamorze (ciotolina molto piccola). I vini hanno un ricarico onesto, consiglierei però di fare attenzione alla temperatura (il nostro Pecorino era caldo). Servizio gentile ma hanno sbagliato qualcosa nel consegnare le comande, peccato veniale. In generale, osteria nella media e buona e tranquilla location, qualcosa da rivedere per essere ottima. Ritorneremo.

Buono nel complesso in posizione abbastanza nascosta in zona San Paolo a Roma. Piatti tipici romani di pesce e di terra con menù troppo vasto ma nulla di entusiasmante, spazio con molti tavoli all’interno in cui si sta stressi e coperto 5euro fogli di carta e acqua del rubinetto a pagamento e pane a pagamento, con proprietario visibilmente attento ai conti
