Excellent value for money. The place is small and noisy due to uncivilized customers, but the staff is friendly and fast.

Excellent food, somewhat out of the way location, though easily accessible by taxi. Very appetizing menu with generous portions. I could perhaps improve the tablecloths and cutlery.

The food was average, but there was one major flaw: some waiters had an unpleasant smell of sweat, unthinkable for a restaurant business!

Excellent cuisine, abundant dishes, family atmosphere.

During a short vacation in Rome, my family and I went to this restaurant, partly because it was close to the hotel where they were staying. It's a small but charming and well-decorated trattoria, with outdoor seating. A bearded gentleman, perhaps the owner, came to take our order. He was very kind and explained the dishes, all typical Roman, which was exactly what we were looking for. When we asked for Jewish-style artichokes, we appreciated his explanation that, since they weren't in season yet, the artichokes were frozen. We ordered supplì, which were good; matriciana, which was good; tripe, which was excellent; and oxtail stew, which was also excellent. We ate very well, with just two small points. When the appetizers arrived, they still hadn't had the plates; we waited a few minutes for them to arrive before we could eat. We had to ask for bread ourselves, but it wasn't brought to us. Overall, we ate very well, but the service definitely needs improvement, which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. I recommend it, though.

The place is beautiful, with a very homey and pleasant atmosphere, and the service is even better. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. A truly wonderful experience.
