Absolutely delicious. Could have eaten meal again. The flavours were sublime. Giuseppe was charming and explained about the local products in the food also helped with wine selection. Best meal we ate in Italy during 2 week holiday.

While visiting Matera, we were tempted by the dishes on the menu at this delightful restaurant.
The owner was fantastic, kind, hospitable, and very passionate about his work and his cuisine.
The food was excellent. Every single dish was a true explosion of flavor.
Thank you for the warm welcome and the good food, and... last but not least, the excellent wine.

What a find! Having been in Italy a week we wanted something different and that is exactly what we got. The waiter / manager spent time explaining the menu and the food was absolutely delicious as was the wine. We adored the crispy peppers and the riso. I’m surprised the restaurant wasn’t busier but it is just outside the main tourist area. Even still the atmosphere was pleasant and this was my favourite meal in Italy so far. I highly recommend people try this place.

Lovely, quiet atmosphere, a beautiful blend of local produce and French cuisine. Superb cuisine. We had the tonnarelli with snapper and the octopus on a bed of fava bean and chicory cream. It's definitely worth the price, as every detail is meticulously designed. The staff and chef are attentive to your every need. Highly recommended!

We were looking for a good restaurant in Matera. Based on the reviews, we decided to make a reservation here. What a surprise! The food was delicious, high-quality, and very easy-going! We completely agree with the previous positive reviews. The flavors are surprising. I'm now convinced that everything here tastes good!

Well worth it. Delicious food and drinks. Order the shared dishes, so you can sample and enjoy so much. Definitely go there. Oh yes. We were already eating the photo of the pulpo. Delicious.

Wunderbare, persönliche und herzliche Gastgeber.
Schöner Gastraum, angenehme Hintergrundmusik, tolle Vorspeisen, eine geniale Lasagne, zwei sehr gute offen Rotweine als Begleiter, eine perfekte Tarte als krönender Abschluss eines mehr als gelungenen Abend!
