I went to Burro Salato with my best friend, my boyfriend, my mom, and a friend of ours, and the experience was truly wonderful. We ordered several dishes (unfortunately, I don't remember all the names 😅), but I can say with certainty that each one was better than the last. The cuisine is very unique: a blend of Matera tradition and French influences, making each dish sophisticated and refined, both in taste and presentation. The service was impeccable. The waiter who greeted us was extremely kind and helpful: he carefully explained some of the dishes and made us feel immediately at ease. Despite our late arrival compared to our reservation time, they still welcomed us without any problems and with great courtesy, which we truly appreciated. The atmosphere also deserves a mention: the place is very cute, well-kept, and welcoming, perfect for a quiet but special evening. All in all, we ate very well and were treated equally well. We had a wonderful meal here. From the start, the service was excellent; helpful in pairing an excellent local wine for our meal, gave us great suggestions for cuisine, really I can't say enough about how great an experience this was start to finish. The Peperone crusco and Prosciuttino were a great way to start and everything that followed was another amazing experience. Wonderful way to spend the evening. Bravo. I highly recommend you try the crepes for desert as well.

I went for dinner with a couple of friends and it was a pleasant surprise. The food was delicious, and the lady who served us was truly kind and helpful. The decor is original and, in my opinion, very beautiful! If I ever return to Matera, I'll definitely come back here!
