We went to this restaurant on the recommendation of my cousin. We had good expectations that were even exceeded. Exceptional dishes, halfway between tradition and innovation thanks to the French influence, impeccable service (the host entertained us and carefully explained each dish). Highly recommended

On the recommendation of the Conche Luxury Retreat (thanks Carla...), we visited the restaurant in the evening. The restaurant is located in a side street of the historic center, but right at the beginning and easy to find. The service was extremely friendly and very competent, and each dish was explained in detail. The wine pairings were, of course, perfect. The "Peperone Crusco" (antipasti) is highly recommended. There were three of us, and everyone loved the dishes. A clear recommendation, and we would go back anytime. The price/performance ratio is very good.

We loved this place so much we ate there two nights in a row. The duck is amazing, as is the beautiful circular lasagna. Their crepes are fantastic as well. Super chill atmosphere down a quieter side street of Matera, and the service is equally laid back and friendly. Don’t miss this place. You’re going to love it!

Had an incredible dinner here. They offer a dedicated vegan menu with a great variety of creative options. The eggplant tartare was a standout, and the beetroot tagliatelle was equally impressive. The restaurant has a warm, cosy atmosphere, and the staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming. Loved the use of nuts and seeds as garnishes too. Highly recommend if you’re in Matera!

Amazing meal made by amazing people. We stayed in Matera for three nights and this was a highlight meal. The fish Saint-Pierre (John Dory) in potatoes with whipped leek emulsion was outstanding - my wife’s best meal the entire stay. Likewise the capuntini pasta with smoked mussels and the octopus secondi were superb. It’s difficult to cook octopus well and this was absolutely perfectly cooked as well as perfectly paired with accompaniments.
On top of that, the husband and wife owners were delightful and made the meal even better. Attentive, thankful, and helpful. It really was a special night.

Para nuestra ultima cena en Matera nos había llamado la atención el nombre de este restaurante y las opiniones en TripAdvisor, realmente lo acertamos para llevarnos un buen sabor de este magnifico viaje a la Pulia y Basilicata,
Se trata de un magnifico restaurante de una calidad excelente, un chef de primera Agostino y una jefa de sala Isabella encantadora, gran profesional y magnifica relaciones publicas con un gran dominio del castellano que lo ha aprendido por libre, nos hizo pasar una gran velada respondiendo a todas nuestras curiosidades sobre la zona. "Grazie Mille Isabella".
Tomamos 1 de Peperone crusco di senise IGP (Tenuta Padi) 2 peperoni essicati all'origine e fritti in olio extra vergine d'oliva) con insalata di pane, miele e ricotta salata, 1 Paris Brest salato di grano saraceno alle rape con alici del mar Cantábrico Calvisius e noci pralinate, 1 de Ferricelli alla cartettiera con Cous Cous di pomodori, datterino giallo confit e pesce spada, 1 Lasagnetta fatta a mano alla salsiccia pezzente con salsa Mornay al Comte e vincotto di fichi (espectacular la mejor Lasaña que he tomado) de postre 1 Mather Gelato cioccolato dello chef, arancia del Metapontino, rosmarino, menta, pralinato alla nocciola, 1 Agua, para beber 3 Calice de Vino Akratos (21.-Euros).
TOTAL: 97.- Euros.
Magnifica relacion calidad precio, muy muy recomendable.
