We arrived late but the welcome was warm. 2 waitresses were very friendly, smiling and patient because we don't speak their language. Perfect value for money, nothing to say. Honestly, if you pass by, stop by for a bite to eat.

If you go to the same restaurant six times in a two-week vacation, you might assume it's just a matter of convenience. My wife and I aren't lazy, though, and so the frequency of our visits to the Bürgerstube can only have one reason: utter satisfaction in every respect. It starts with the very friendly welcome, continues with the very attentive and unobtrusively friendly service from the ladies in the waiting room, and ends with the food, whose quality we couldn't fault at all. And the value for money gets another 5 stars from us. Part of a successful vacation – thank you, Bürgerstube team!

We were on vacation in this region and, thank goodness, discovered the Bürgerstube. Such delicious food, outstanding service, and unbeatable value for money with top quality -> it couldn't be better. Keep up the good work!

Highly recommended. Both the food and the service! Basically, no matter what you order, everything tastes excellent and is reasonably priced. The aioli with the super delicious and crispy pizza crust was particularly interesting.

Super friendly staff, clean restaurant, and delicious pizza (I recommend the artisan and farmer's pizza). Too bad it's closed on weekends. Highly recommended!

This was by far the best pizza of our vacation! And it was excellent value for money. The service was very friendly and attentive, and always had a smile on their faces.

We went here twice, the homemade pizzas are amazing! Staff tried their best to speak English, but we understood each other. Just amazingly housemade food.

29/09/2025: Juicy, tasty burgers, reasonable prices.
25/09/2025: Good food with a wide variety of burgers, including vegan! Friendly staff and fast service. The interior isn't very large, but there's plenty of seating. Outdoor seating is protected from the sun or rain. There's also convenient parking in front.

Hotel Restaurant Schaurhof

31/10/2025: This is a lovely, family run hotel and you can see that in the attention to detail. Its a little outside Sterzing, but up a bit in the mountains with a fab view, especially the next morning when we walked out of the hotel to discover snow on the mountain tops. We had a big room (the sofa could have been used for 2 kids) and everything was super clean. The small sauna area was a very welcome surprise after a long car journey. And the food! Wow! I took the 'Surprise Menu' in the evening which is literally what it says. I was asked what I most definitely wouldn't like to eat, but after that I had no clue what I was getting. It did not disappoint! The breakfast was gorgeous too, with lots of fresh fruit and fresh local eggs. All yum!
30/07/2025: Unfortunately, we had to cancel our stay. Despite the circumstances, the advance payment was fully refunded. Friendly and professional staff. Thank you!
