We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Kronsbühl! The rooms are very nice and spacious. The pool above the hotel is in a fantastic location. From the hotel, we were able to enjoy many beautiful hikes. Merano is an hour's walk away, and about 15 minutes by car. Many thanks to the friendly Schöpf family and their attentive staff.

The hotel has a great location. It's very quiet. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds, plus friendly staff and excellent food—what more could you want for a vacation?

We stayed here for a total of 7 days – a wonderful hotel with a breathtaking view of Merano and the valley. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, surpassed only by the wonderful and motivated staff. The rooms are new, and the pool above the hotel boasts a stunning view of Tyrol Castle and Thurnstein. The location is ideal for cycling. We will definitely return.

Very nice family and staff! Great view, great breakfast and dinner! Wonderful room. After a 150km bike ride, I'm happy to cycle another 3km uphill at the end 🤪

This lovingly run hotel never fails to delight us. The decor is very tasteful, the food is excellent, the staff are all very friendly, and—not to forget—the view is breathtaking! A holiday in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere!

This family-run hotel boasts excellent cuisine and a wonderful dining area in the restaurant with a beautiful view of the valley and Merano. The pool area is also very nice, offering views of two castles and the valley towards Merano. I stayed in the lovely room 101 on the south side, which also had a fantastic view of Merano.

Sesselschwaige Restaurant

14/09/2025: I've been to the Sesselschwaige a few times this year, which was newly managed this year. Why a few times? Because the staff is very friendly and attentive to their guests. The food was excellent, I can only recommend it. The cakes are also very delicious. The prices are a bit higher compared to other huts, but considering that the food is regularly airlifted up, I think the prices are really justified. 👍🏻 I can only recommend it. 😊
