Excellent bar, serving aperitifs with appetizers. The menu includes cocktails, draft beer, and bottled beer, including large ones. Friendly staff and a convenient location just below the Capitoline Hill.

We stumbled upon it by chance and it was a resounding success. The food (those unusual sandwiches) was fantastic and the waiters were great. The prices, finally, were within what we're used to in Spain. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Very good cappuccino. Perfect break after visiting the Colossus and the Forums. They also serve sandwiches. Good prices compared to the more touristy areas.

This place is an absolute gem - handy for the Forum and Capitoline but tucked away and quiet. Views of the walls at the back of the Capitoline. Super friendly service with lovely staff and the sandwich with artichoke is delicious. Also has great non alcoholic options, get the bitters, delicious. Love it ☺️

The Butcher House

09/01/2026: The space is large but well-organized. The waiters are kind and fast. As soon as you walk in, the young man/woman at the entrance is welcoming and attentive. I had an appetizer and a pizza, and I must say that, given the large table, the dishes arrived all together and hot. The pizza was excellent, and the appetizer was delicious. I'll be back to try the sandwiches.
03/01/2026: A restaurant and pizzeria serving delicious gluten-free pizza. It's a shame that for celiacs, the only fried food they offer is regular chips and cacio e pepe. The gluten-free desserts are also delicious (a delicious tiramisu).
